A separate 5 euro STAGE FEE applies on top of every ticket, charged once however many days you attend, so no figure here is the final total. The convention fee nearly doubled this year, from 125 to 240, because the event moved from a hotel in an industrial area to the Stadthalle Karlsruhe; the convention argues the total trip costs less because double rooms fall from about 108 to about 80 euro with breakfast and food is no longer hotel-only. Sponsor levels are sold as 60 and 120 euro UPGRADES rather than replacement prices; the totals are above. Online registration closes 31 October, but day tickets stay on sale a month longer, to 30 November, and both can also be bought on-site - though on-site requires a verified account created and email-confirmed BEFORE you arrive. Day-ticket holders choose how many days when booking and which days at check-in.

Why €125 became €240, and what the move bought
The Furvester 7 con fee jumped from €125 to €240 when the convention moved from the Hotel Fortuna in Reutlingen to the Stadthalle Karlsruhe. The org publishes the full reasoning on the registration page: the old industrial-area hotel had no nearby food, no fallback hotels, and a hard attendee cap, so attendees absorbed hidden costs.
NYE in a pyrotechnic-free zone by Karlsruhe city ordinance
Furvester is one of the few New Year''s Eve furry conventions, but the venue sits inside Karlsruhe''s official pyrotechnic-free zone by city ordinance. The Rules of Conduct bind attendees on the Stadthalle grounds and in the surrounding areas, and even off-venue fireworks are sanctionable if they "bring disrepute to the convention."
Animal-charity tradition: every edition, a different rescue
Across six editions Furvester has run the same charity pattern: an animal or wildlife rescue, German or Dutch, never repeated. The lineage: Alternative Wolf- und Bärenpark Schwarzwald (FV3, 2019, rescued bears + wolves + lynx); Aktion Fischotterschutz e.V. (FV4, 2022, world''s largest independent otter charity); Tierheim Vaihingen/Enz (FV5, 2023, post-pandemic small-shelter relief); De Poezenboot / Catboat Amsterdam (FV6, 2024, the historic floating cat sanctuary founded 1968).
