A EUR 5 stage fee is added once to each ticket. Sponsor upgrades add EUR 60 or EUR 120; totals are shown above. Online weekend registration closes October 31, and day-ticket sales close November 30. Tickets are also sold on site, but you must create and verify your account before arrival. Day-ticket holders choose the number of days when booking and the specific days later.

The edition originally planned for the 2025/2026 New Year period was postponed due to venue changes. Organizers focused on securing a new location for the "Furvester 007" theme's eventual debut.
Furvester 6 ran December 29, 2024 to January 2, 2025 at Hotel Fortuna Reutlingen/Tübingen under the Into the Cyberspace theme. The official archive reports 718 paid attendees, including 435 fursuiters, and names De Poezenboot / Catboat Foundation as the charity partner. The donation amount and Guest of Honor were not published in the reviewed archive.
Furvester 5 ran December 28, 2023 to January 1, 2024 at Hotel Fortuna in Reutlingen under the Mad Science theme. The official nose-count page reports 576 confirmed registrations, not a final attendance count, and the charity page names the Vaihingen/Enz Animal Shelter. The reviewed archive does not publish a final charity amount or Guest of Honor.

Why €125 became €240, and what the move bought
The Furvester 7 con fee jumped from €125 to €240 when the convention moved from the Hotel Fortuna in Reutlingen to the Stadthalle Karlsruhe. The org publishes the full reasoning on the registration page: the old industrial-area hotel had no nearby food, no fallback hotels, and a hard attendee cap, so attendees absorbed hidden costs.
NYE in a pyrotechnic-free zone by Karlsruhe city ordinance
Furvester is one of the few New Year''s Eve furry conventions, but the venue sits inside Karlsruhe''s official pyrotechnic-free zone by city ordinance. The Rules of Conduct bind attendees on the Stadthalle grounds and in the surrounding areas, and even off-venue fireworks are sanctionable if they "bring disrepute to the convention."
Animal-charity tradition: every edition, a different rescue
Across six editions Furvester has run the same charity pattern: an animal or wildlife rescue, German or Dutch, never repeated. The lineage: Alternative Wolf- und Bärenpark Schwarzwald (FV3, 2019, rescued bears + wolves + lynx); Aktion Fischotterschutz e.V. (FV4, 2022, world''s largest independent otter charity); Tierheim Vaihingen/Enz (FV5, 2023, post-pandemic small-shelter relief); De Poezenboot / Catboat Amsterdam (FV6, 2024, the historic floating cat sanctuary founded 1968).
