• By Train: Karlsruhe Hauptbahnhof (central station) is a major stop on the German ICE high-speed network. Direct ICE services run from Frankfurt (about 1 hour), Stuttgart (about 45 minutes), Munich (about 3 hours), and Basel (about 1.5 hours). The Stadthalle Karlsruhe is roughly a 15-minute walk or short tram ride from the Hauptbahnhof.
• Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden Airport (FKB): The regional airport is about 25 minutes from the city centre by bus (shuttle services run to Karlsruhe Hauptbahnhof). Ryanair operates budget routes to several European cities from FKB.

Hotel reservations for Furvester are handled separately from convention registration. The Stadthalle Karlsruhe is a convention centre (not a hotel), so attendees book their own accommodation:

• Hotels Near the Stadthalle: The area around Festplatz and the Hauptbahnhof has a cluster of mid-range and budget hotels within walking distance of the venue. Look along Ettlinger Strasse or near Marktplatz.
• Karlsruhe City Centre: The compact city centre is well-served by trams, so most hotels within the central ring are a short ride from the Stadthalle.
