H-Con is the small-and-cozy end of the convention spectrum. Instead of a hotel, it takes over a self-catering house at the edge of the Odenwald forest, and instead of a passive badge, every attendee becomes part of the crew that makes the weekend run. The food is plentiful and all-you-can-eat, dogs are welcome with notice, and the ~60-person cap keeps it intimate. For furries who want a relaxed, communal house party in the German countryside rather than a big-con bustle, H-Con is a long-established option with a loyal following.

There is NO sponsor tier, and that is deliberate rather than missing: the organisers say they would rather any extra money benefit everyone. Arriving on the 29th costs 15 euro more and buys an evening meal on a site that may still be half built. Day guests are welcome in limited numbers but must register the same way, and a day means one day on site; no day rate is published. Dogs are allowed but only if declared at registration.
By air: The nearest major airport is Frankfurt (FRA); the Odenwald sits between Frankfurt and Heidelberg.
By car: The Petershof is near Erbach im Odenwald in the Mümling valley, with limited on-site parking and additional parking a short walk away. A car is the easiest way in.
By transit: Erbach (Odenwald) is reachable by regional rail from the Frankfurt/Darmstadt area; arrange the final stretch to the house via the convention's Telegram.
