Because FWH operates within a castle, space is limited. The organizers use a structured application and review process to manage capacity. Once accepted, the badge is fully all-inclusive, covering on-site lodging, catered meals, snacks, and soft drinks for the entire weekend.
The venue is a central part of the appeal. Attendees live on-site at Kasteel de Berckt for the duration. While day passes are occasionally offered (and serve as the only entry method for minors with guardians), the core FWH experience is the immersive, residential format of living, dancing, and gaming alongside the European community inside a historic estate.

Living in Rijksmonument #26527 with the convent chapel as the dance floor
Most furcons rent hotels; FWH rents a literal medieval castle. Kasteel de Berckt is Rijksmonument #26527 on the Dutch national heritage register, with parts dating to the 12th-13th century and the present neoclassical main building rebuilt in 1830.
Hyena Underground Market: after-dark adult dealers' den as a programmed event
Most cons run an Artist Alley or Dealers'' Den as a single trading hall with optional after-dark hours. FWH splits the trading layer into two programmed events: the family-friendly Animal Market ("From fursuits and accessories to art and goodies") and the Hyena Underground Market, described on `events.php` as "An adult-oriented event celebrating the wild charm and mischief of the preserve''s fiercest residents. For those brave enough to stay after dark, the den transforms into an untamable dance party."
Minors only on a €2 Saturday day pass with a guardian, no weekend residential
All-ages access at FWH is structural rather than promotional: minors can attend Saturday only on a €2 day pass and must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Full weekend residential tickets are not available to under-18s at all, the castle-residential format is adults-only by ticket design.
