ConFuzzled (CFz) 2027 is scheduled for May 28-Jun 1, 2027 in Birmingham, United Kingdom. The announced theme is XXTREME Racing.
ConFuzzled returns to the Hilton Birmingham Metropole from 28 May to 1 June 2027 with "XXTREME Racing", a motorsport-themed edition fronted by mascots Brok, Mel and Dylan. As the UK's largest furry convention, it again runs over the late-May bank holiday weekend across its multi-hotel NEC footprint, keeping the residential room-and-badge lottery, stage productions, and charity fundraising that define the event. The 2027 charity partner and Community Guests had not been announced at the time of writing.

ConFuzzled 2026 ran May 22-26 at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole under "The Musical" theme, with artist Nyhgault and musician Regdeh as Community Guests. ConFuzzled had not published an official closing attendance figure at time of writing (2025's official figure was 3,179). The 2026 charity beneficiary was Tiny Paws MCR, a Manchester-based small-animal rescue (final total pending). The weekend included an officially scheduled fire-alarm test on Wednesday 27 May, and a mid-convention safety advisory from the convention asking attendees to travel in groups and avoid visibly fursuiting outside the venue near Resorts World.
ConFuzzled 2025 drew 3,179 attendees to the Hilton Birmingham Metropole with the "Mel's Fashion Week" theme. The convention raised over 41,000 GBP for Saints Sled Dog Rescue, with Hexi and Hiyu as Guests of Honor.
CFz 2024 brought 2,881 attendees under the "Dylan's Ocean Odyssey" theme. The event raised over 39,000 GBP for charity, continuing the convention's strong fundraising tradition.

Residential lottery: ConFuzzled sells a room+badge bundle, not a badge
Almost no other major furry convention sells registration the way ConFuzzled does. The main route in is a residential package that bundles your badge with your Hilton room for the four convention nights, and the whole pool is allocated by a two-week lottery. Submitting on day 1 of the window has the same odds as submitting on day 14, which deliberately killed the older first-come-first-served race that locked out attendees in the wrong timezones.
First UK furry con to ban AI-generated work and NFTs in 2023
On 19 January 2023, well before AI-image policy became standard at furry conventions, ConFuzzled formally banned AI-generated artwork, AI-generated written material, and NFTs from both the Dealers'' Den and the Art Show. The stated rationale was legal-framework ambiguity, not aesthetic preference, and the rule pre-dated similar moves at most peer UK and European cons by 12 to 18 months.

CFz 2026 runs across three hotels, not one: the Hilton Birmingham Metropole (main, ConFuzzled-purchased room block), the Crowne Plaza NEC (ConFuzzled-purchased room block, on Pendigo Way at B40 1PS), and new for 2026 the Arden Hotel & Leisure Club (announced 27 August 2025 as a negotiated discount code, not a room block).
