NordicFuzzCon (NFC) 2027 is scheduled for Feb 24-28, 2027 in Malmö, Sweden. The announced theme is Crime Noir.
NordicFuzzCon (NFC) is Europe's second-largest furry convention and the largest in Scandinavia, held at the Clarion Hotel & Congress Malmö Live with its sister venue Valhalla in Malmö, Sweden. The 2026 edition set a new attendance record at 5,957, up from 5,669 in 2025. The event draws attendees from over 60 countries and is known for its story-driven opening ceremonies, the imported Japanese arcade cabinets inside Valhalla, and the International Snack Exchange. The 2027 "Crime Noir" edition (Feb 24-28) keeps the same multi-venue setup linking the Clarion with the Valhalla event space; Guest of Honor and charity beneficiary will be announced in autumn 2026.

NordicFuzzCon 2026 set a new attendance record with 5,957 attendees (+6.9% YoY from 5,669; 6,200+ registered per the official Telegram, but turnstile came in at 5,957), transforming the Clarion ballroom and the Valhalla stages into a circus spectacle under the "Cirque du Nord" theme. WannaBeast returned as Guest of Honor. The convention raised funds for Råtthjälpen, a Swedish rodent rescue organization.
The "Personal Mythology" edition drew 5,669 attendees to the Clarion + Valhalla pair, the convention's biggest crowd to date at that point. The convention raised 462,000 SEK for Dyrahjalp, an Icelandic animal welfare organization. WannaBeast served as Guest of Honor, beginning a multi-year partnership.
NordicFuzzCon 2024 returned to Clarion Hotel & Congress Malmo Live with a Ragnarök theme. Published event records list 3,704 total people and 323,452 SEK raised for UAnimals.

Valhalla: the second venue 10 minutes away
NFC runs a deliberate two-venue setup. The Clarion Hotel & Congress Malmö Live handles panels, dealers, the main ballroom, and sleeping floors. Valhalla is a separate historic building at Jörgen Kocksgatan 7A, about a 10-minute walk away, served by a free dedicated shuttle bus that runs roughly every 30 minutes during peak hours.
International Snack Exchange
A signature NFC tradition since the early years. Attendees bring sealed snacks from their home country to a dedicated room; you swap one of yours for one of someone else's.
Story-driven ceremonies
NFC's opening and closing ceremonies are scripted multi-year narrative arcs, not filler announcements. Each year's theme builds on the last. The Cirque du Nord 2026 storyline carried plot threads from earlier editions, and Crime Noir 2027 is expected to continue the pattern.
