NordicFuzzCon (NFC) is Europe's largest furry convention, held at Malmö Massan in Malmö, Sweden. The 2026 edition set a new attendance record of 5,957, following the 5,669 recorded in 2025. The event draws attendees from over 60 countries and is known for its story-driven opening ceremonies, imported Japanese arcade cabinets, and the International Snack Exchange. Most attendees fly into Copenhagen Airport (CPH) in Denmark and reach Malmö via a 20-minute train across the Oresund Bridge.
Running during the Swedish winter (February 18-22, 2026), NFC transforms the city of Malmo into a vibrant festival. The "Cirque du Nord" (Circus of the North) theme featured acrobatics, magic, and performance art under big-top style decor.
NFC 2026 brought back WannaBeast, a K-Pop furry dance group from Asia, as their Guest of Honor, combining European theatrical production with Asian pop-culture performance. Alongside story-driven Opening Ceremonies, imported Japanese arcade cabinets, and the International Snack Exchange, NFC delivers a convention experience with few parallels in Europe.
