From attendees
Three-day entry, a conbook and bag, convention merch and a lanyard
Upgrades the conbook to HARDBACK and adds a sponsor lanyard, a T-shirt and early access to the Dealers Den
Adds an honourable mention in the conbook and exclusive Super Sponsor merch
SALES HAVE NOT OPENED. They begin at 6pm Irish time on Sunday 30 August 2026, so these prices are published but not yet buyable. Every rate is NON-RESIDENTIAL and excludes the hotel entirely - the convention procures a discount code for the Clayton Hotel Liffey Valley and only releases it once registration is paid, so the room cost cannot be known before committing to a ticket. Hotel parking is charged separately: the first two hours free, then 3 euro an hour, capped at 10 overnight. What separates Standard from Sponsor is mostly the conbook, which upgrades to hardback, plus early Dealers Den access.
The Clayton Hotel Liffey Valley sits in west Dublin, well-connected by air and public transit:

Ainmhícon's debut edition ran April 11-12, 2026 at the Clayton Hotel Liffey Valley. Organizers announced a final charity donation of €13,035.17 for Seal Rescue Ireland, then revealed the next edition theme as "Rising Roots." A final attendance count has not been published yet.
While originally discussed for 2025, the demand for Ireland's first dedicated convention was so high that organizers moved the timeline forward to a full launch in 2026 at the Clayton Hotel Liffey Valley.

3 quirks & policies that don't fit the highlights grid.
Publishes every official message in Gaeilge first, English second
Ainmhícon is the only convention we have documented that publishes every official communication in Irish (Gaeilge) first, English second. The name itself glues ainmhí (animal) onto con. Closing-ceremony Bluesky posts, charity-total reveals, theme announcements, and Pride messaging are all bilingual, and the Gaeilge version posts first.
The Irish PSC and Garda Age Card are explicitly rejected at registration
The CoC goes further than most in naming specific state-issued IDs as insufficient. The Irish Public Services Card (held by ~3.4M Irish residents for welfare/Revenue use) and the Garda Age Card (the standard Irish proof-of-age card) are both explicitly disallowed, attendees must present a passport or driving licence.
CoC names the Israeli Defence Forces in its banned-costume reference list
Most convention codes of conduct stop at "Nazi/Soviet/totalitarian regimes" (Furcation''s Holton Heath Armistice-Day rationale is the canonical UK shape).
