Registration for 2026 is complete and the organizers are not taking any more payments. Places were allocated by an accommodation lottery after registration ended on 9 August, the remaining units went to the waiting list, and the last payments were due on 10 September. Attendance required accommodation booked through Furcation: the GBP 100 attendance fee plus lodging started at GBP 195 per person, including VAT. Compact caravans cost GBP 95-150, main-stay chalets and caravans GBP 100-170, and lodges GBP 140-190, depending on grade. Extra nights on Thursday November 19 or Monday November 23 cost GBP 40-60 each, or GBP 80-120 for both. Sponsor upgrades were available until 30 September. No day passes are offered. Dogs need a GBP 30 pet pass each, at most 2 per accommodation, booked with Registration in advance.
Furcation 2026 returns to Sandy Glade Holiday Park in Brean, Somerset, on the coast between Brean and Burnham-on-Sea. Most attendees drive: leave the M5 at junction 22 (Burnham-on-Sea) and follow the coast road north through Berrow to the park. By rail, Highbridge & Burnham is the nearest station, on the Bristol-Taunton line with Great Western Railway connections; a short taxi ride covers the last stretch to the park. Bristol Airport (BRS) is the most convenient airport, roughly 25 miles north.

Accommodation is part of the Furcation experience. Attendees book shared lodges, chalets and caravans at the holiday park rather than traditional hotel rooms; for 2026 the con's units sit in the Sandy Meadows area of Sandy Glade, with the chalets closest to the clubhouse. Allocating a lodge with friends is the usual approach, keeping costs well below a hotel stay. Nearby Burnham-on-Sea covers supermarkets and shopping for self-catering runs.

Furcation took a break in 2025 to focus on future venue planning and organizational restructuring, after the organizers said the 2024 venue would not host them again. The community turned its focus toward the 'Press Start!' theme for its eventual return.
Furcation 2024 ran from November 22-25 at Sandford Holiday Park in Poole, Dorset. The official edition homepage called it a new venue with more space and facilities, and published the Tails of Terror theme. The official edition page names no Guest of Honour and gives no final headcount. The charity was Ferne Animal Sanctuary, and the organizers report that attendees raised £6,947.36, which Furcation then matched; Ferne replaced the first choice, Margaret Green Animal Rescue, in October 2024.
Furcation 2023 ran November 17-20 at Sandy Glade Holiday Park in Brean under the Space: The Final Fur-rontier! theme. The official venue page describes the exclusive-use holiday-park format, and the code of conduct states that attendees must be 18 or over. No first-party final attendance, charity amount, or Guest of Honour was found in the reviewed 2023 routes.

UK's holiday-park furcon: whole-park exclusive use, no day tickets
Furcation is the UK''s original holiday-camp furry convention and explicitly positions itself against the hotel-con model, "Think Pontins/Butlins for Furries," in the con''s own words. Each November it takes exclusive use of a coastal holiday park''s entire grounds out of season, with attendees booking whole caravans, chalets, or lodges (not hotel rooms) on a sliding scale.
How Frantic Eufuria and a cancelled Clevedon launch became Furcation
Furcation''s first event was 2016, but planning began for a 2015 launch at Warren''s Holiday Village in Clevedon, contracts were signed before Warren''s pulled the plug four months out. Staff hunted for another host; John Fowler Holidays stepped in with Combe Martin Beach Holiday Park, kicking off an 8-year, 4-venue partnership across North Devon and Somerset (Combe Martin 2016-2017, Sandaway Beach 2018, Sandy Glade Brean 2019/2022/2023).
Holton Heath, a Royal Naval Cordite Factory site as the venue village
The 2024 venue''s village, Holton Heath, west of Poole in Dorset, was the site of a major Royal Naval Cordite Factory that manufactured propellant for British naval shells through both World Wars; the factory was bombed in WW2 and the site is now the Holton Heath Nature Reserve, with Morden Bog National Nature Reserve immediately northwest.
