3 quirks & policies that don't fit the highlights grid.
Art. 19 + Art. 20: After Dark NSFW zone, no AI art
FBL''s Dealers'' Den rules codify two specific policies in Articles 19 and 20: a dedicated After Dark NSFW area (Art. 19) sectioned off from the main floor, and a no-AI-art clause (Art. 20) banning AI-generated works from any vendor booth. The dual-policy lets FBL host explicit adult art while keeping a hard line on generated content, a combination few peer European cons publish in their den rules.
Add-on stacking tier ladder on a €150 base
Rather than the usual flat-tier ladder, FBL uses add-on stacking on top of the €150 base pass: Attendee+ (+€30), Sponsor (+€60), Super Sponsor (+€120) with early Dealers'' Den access. Room packages bundle 4 nights, breakfast, and conbook (Superior €495 / Deluxe €595 per person at double occupancy; singles €745 / €945). The structure makes the base ticket optional to upgrade, distinct from peer 18+ cons that bake sponsor perks into a single fixed tier price.
The 18-the-day-before hard cutoff
FBL sets its age floor a day earlier than most cons do. Its Code of Conduct (ch. 2, art. 1.1) and Terms & Conditions (ch. 1, art. 4.1) both read: "You must be at least 18 years of age on the day before the first day of the event, no exceptions will be made." So the bar is not 18 at the door: an attendee who turns 18 partway through the convention is still barred, and FBL states plainly that it makes no exceptions.
