SpringFurCon is a spring furry convention in Schweinfurt, Germany, run by the association Freunde auf 2 Pfoten e.V.
SpringFurCon 2 runs March 24-28, 2027 in Schweinfurt under the theme "Meme-seum". The first edition was held at the Mercure Hotel Schweinfurt Maininsel, and the organizers have not yet confirmed the hotel for 2027. Registration for the convention has not opened yet, while applications for the 2027 Artshow, Artist Alley and Dealers Den opened in September 2026.

SpringFurCon debuted April 8-12, 2026 at the Mercure Hotel Schweinfurt Maininsel with its Enchanted Forest theme and Frauenhaus Schweinfurt as the charity partner. Attendees donated 5,060 EUR during the convention, which the organizers said was not yet the final amount going to the shelters, and no attendance figure has been published.

Anti-poodling rule encoded in the Verein's bylaws, with a medical exemption
Most furcons treat suiting standards as a soft-power norm, staff discretion, parade etiquette, the occasional CoC line. SpringFurCon's parent association, Freunde auf 2 Pfoten e.V., went the other way: the no-poodling rule is "in der Satzung verankert", written into the registered association's charter by member vote, not added by a single year's organising team. The Teilnahmebedingungen frames it twice. First, the Verein runs walking-acts, charity appearances and family-facing events year-round outside the con; Charaktertreue (character fidelity) is treated as an operational expectation in those contexts. Second, the con's editorial axis foregrounds the sona-as-performance, "the depiction of the animal character itself", over partial-plus-streetwear posture.
Drone ban grounded in the geography around the 2026 venue
SpringFurCon did not ban drones in 2026 with a generic "no aerial photography" line. Teilnahmebedingungen §4 framed the prohibition geographically: the 2026 Maininsel venue sat between a Naturschutzgebiet (nature reserve) and a Bundeswasserstraße (federal waterway), and the con pointed at that setting as the reason drones stayed on the ground.
Cash-only €75 walk-in pass with no online day-ticket presale
For its 2026 edition, SpringFurCon's day-ticket model was deliberately unusual. There was no online day-pass presale: a walk-in cost €75 on-site, cash or card only, and that single ticket explicitly covered programming running past midnight on the day of purchase. The full-weekend tier ladder ran Frühlingswächter €140 (early-reg through 31 Dec 2025), Waldwächter €150 (regular from 1 Jan 2026), the Magischer Bewohner sponsor add-on from €50, plus a separate €5 Hügelgräber stage-ticket add-on. The hotel block on the private Maininsel island sold out Privilege and three-bed Standard before the live reg counter hit its 2026-06-05 reading of 270.
