Anti-poodling rule encoded in the Verein's bylaws, with a medical exemption
Most furcons treat suiting standards as a soft-power norm, staff discretion, parade etiquette, the occasional CoC line. SpringFurCon's parent association, Freunde auf 2 Pfoten e.V., went the other way: the no-poodling rule is "in der Satzung verankert", written into the registered association's charter by member vote, not added by a single year's organising team. The Teilnahmebedingungen frames it twice. First, the Verein runs walking-acts, charity appearances and family-facing events year-round outside the con; Charaktertreue (character fidelity) is treated as an operational expectation in those contexts. Second, the con's editorial axis foregrounds the sona-as-performance, "the depiction of the animal character itself", over partial-plus-streetwear posture.
Drone ban grounded in the geography around the venue
SpringFurCon doesn't ban drones with a generic "no aerial photography" line. Teilnahmebedingungen §4 frames the prohibition geographically: the Maininsel venue sits between a Naturschutzgebiet (nature reserve) and a Bundeswasserstraße (federal waterway), and the con points at that setting as the reason drones stay on the ground.
Cash-only €75 walk-in pass with no online day-ticket presale
SpringFurCon's day-ticket model is deliberately unusual. There is no online day-pass presale: a walk-in costs €75 on-site, cash or card only, and that single ticket explicitly covers programming running past midnight on the day of purchase. The full-weekend tier ladder runs Frühlingswächter €140 (early-reg through 31 Dec 2025), Waldwächter €150 (regular from 1 Jan 2026), the Magischer Bewohner sponsor add-on from €50, plus a separate €5 Hügelgräber stage-ticket add-on. The hotel block on the private Maininsel island sold out Privilege and three-bed Standard before the live reg counter hit its 2026-06-05 reading of 270.
