The nearest airport is Strasbourg Airport (SXB), about 15 minutes southwest of the city center by shuttle bus. For more international connections, EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg (BSL/MLH/EAP) is roughly 90 minutes south. Strasbourg is a major TGV hub, with high-speed trains from Paris Gare de l'Est arriving in under 2 hours. Direct TGV services also connect to Lyon, Marseille, and Lille. The German rail network is just across the Rhine, with ICE trains from Frankfurt and Stuttgart. The Hilton Strasbourg sits near the Wacken conference district, accessible from Gare de Strasbourg via Tram Line B (direction Hoenheim Gare) to the Wacken stop.

The convention is held at the Hilton Strasbourg, located near the European Parliament quarter and the Wacken conference area. Convention-rate rooms are available through the event's registration system. The hotel has large ballrooms and on-site dining. Strasbourg's city center, including the famous Petite France quarter and the cathedral, is a short tram ride away, and budget hotels and Airbnbs are available throughout the city.
The third edition of FurEast drew 225 attendees to Strasbourg for its detective-themed 'Hilton Affair'. The community raised €1,500 for the Galia animal rescue association.

Live public attendee directory mid-cycle
FurEast publishes a live `/attendees` directory listing 274 registered names mid-cycle with badge number, role tag, fursuiter flag, country flag, and tier. Most cons keep this private until on-site (or never publish it at all), FurEast deliberately turns the registration list into a public reference, useful for cross-border attendees coordinating travel and meetups before the doors open.
Dealers' Den: guaranteed pass + room + free table
Dealers'' Den exhibitors get a guaranteed convention pass AND a guaranteed hotel room AND a free table, with both SFW and discreet NSFW art permitted. The bundled-guarantee package is unusually generous, peer European cons typically charge for the table and make exhibitors compete for the limited hotel block on their own.
Designed without a Guest of Honor programme
FurEast deliberately runs without a Guest of Honor programme, the goh field stays TBA by design, not by oversight. The choice puts the programming weight on the international bilingual attendee mix and the Strasbourg cross-border location rather than on a marquee headliner, which is rare at the ~225-attendee scale where most cons lean on a named GoH to drive registrations.
