Fauntastic is a French furry convention held near Lyon at the Novotel Lyon Bron Eurexpo. It drew 488 attendees in 2025 and positions itself as an inclusive event open to both furries and the general public.
Following the 2024 "Camp Critters" theme and 2025's "Lati's Mewstery Dungeon," Fauntastic returns April 3-7, 2026 with a "Space Groove" theme. Hosted at the Novotel Lyon Bron Eurexpo, the five-day event mixes sci-fi party energy with relaxed downtime.
Unlike large trade-show-style conventions, Fauntastic focuses on art, creativity, and social connection. Attendees are as likely to be in board game sessions in the lounge areas as at the dance. In 2025, the convention named the MeToo Fandom Furry Association as its charity beneficiary.
Lyon-Saint Exupery Airport (LYS) is a major international hub about 20 minutes from the venue. Lyon's TGV connections also make the convention accessible from Paris, Marseille, and across Europe by train.
