Furizon is Italy's primary furry convention, operated by a non-profit established in 2014 near Milan. It follows a hotel-takeover format with capacity limits to maintain a smaller-scale, social atmosphere.
Furizon has not yet announced its 2027 edition. The most recent convention, "Polaris", ran June 2-5, 2026 at the Devero Hotel in Cavenago di Brianza and has concluded; the organisers have not published dates, a theme, or a venue for the next full convention. In the meantime the smaller Furizon River Side furmeet is scheduled for October 15-18, 2026 at Hotel Corno Bianco in Pietralba.
Furizon requires an annual APS membership (EUR 10) alongside event registration. The convention uses strict payment windows and hard-capped daily tickets (limited to 30 per day), keeping attendance controlled and the experience manageable, so watch the official site for 2027 registration timing once it opens.
The hotel-centric format encourages attendees to stay on-site for the full event, with early arrival and late departure options available. Located near Milan, the convention can serve as a starting point for broader European travel.
Furizon is run by APS Furizon, a registered Italian Associazione di Promozione Sociale (non-profit) founded around 2014. Pre-2022, the organization hosted furmeets across Italy; the 2022 edition was the first formal multi-day convention.

The closest airport is Milan Linate Airport (LIN), about 22 minutes by car from the Devero Hotel. Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP), the main international hub, is roughly 50 minutes away. Milan Bergamo Airport (BGY) is another option, about 21 minutes by taxi ($55 to $70) or 54 minutes by bus ($7 to $10) via the Bergamo Trasporti service from Orio al Serio to Agrate Brianza.
Cavenago di Brianza is not directly connected to the railway network. The convention recommends traveling to Milano Centrale or Milano Rogoredo train stations and then taking a bus or rideshare. Google Maps or Moovit can help plan the final leg using local bus routes. If driving, the hotel is located just off the A4 Torino-Trieste motorway at the Agrate Brianza exit.

The convention takes over the Devero Hotel, a four-star property in Cavenago di Brianza with over 1,000 square meters of conference space. The hotel section offers double, triple, suite, and penthouse room categories. An annual APS nonprofit membership (EUR 10) is required alongside event registration. Furizon 2026, themed "Polaris" and framed as an expedition into the Arctic frontier, ran June 2-5 at the Devero Hotel in Cavenago di Brianza. Demand outran the hotel's room block, so Furizon brokered a discounted overflow block at the nearby AS Hotel Cambiago, the first Furizon overflow hotel we have recorded. As of early July 2026 the organisers have not released an official attendance count, guest of honor, or charity total, so those figures are not yet recorded here.
Furizon 2025 attracted 400 attendees at the Devero Hotel under the "Zenith" theme, described as "the peak of opulence and splendor, inspired by the gleaming heart of Capitol City". FlukeHusky served as the guest of honor, with EzoWolf as special guest. The event ran June 3-7 and was the first edition at the Devero Hotel, a deliberate relocation from the convention's earlier Trentino mountain venue as attendance crossed 400.
Furizon 2024 ran June 4-8 at Park Hotel Sacro Cuore in Cavalese (TN), high in the Trentino mountains, under the "Overlord" theme. It drew 275 attendees and was the last edition at the Cavalese venue before the 2025 move to the Devero Hotel near Milan.
The 2023 edition, themed "Beyond", drew 214 attendees at Park Hotel Sacro Cuore in Cavalese, continuing the convention's steady growth from its first formal year.
The 2022 edition, themed "Riots", was Furizon's first true convention rather than a furmeet, drawing 135 attendees from Italy and five other European nations at Park Hotel Sacro Cuore in Cavalese. It laid the groundwork for the rapid growth that followed and the eventual relocation to the Devero Hotel in 2025.
In 2021 only the smaller Furizon River Side side-event ran; no main Furizon convention took place. River Side, originally created as a 2020 cancellation workaround, has since become an annual standalone.
The originally scheduled 2020 edition, themed "Riots", was cancelled due to COVID-19. APS Furizon replaced it with the first edition of Furizon River Side, a smaller side-event that has continued in subsequent years.
The fifth Furizon edition, "Sovereign", ran May 29 to June 2, 2019 at Hotel Sole Del Baldo in San Valentino TN. Attendance was not publicly published.

First Devero year was 2025: three Cavalese conventions came before
Furizon''s first three formal conventions all ran at Park Hotel Sacro Cuore in Cavalese (TN), high in the Trentino mountains: 2022 with 135 attendees, 2023 with 214, 2024 with 275. The 2025 "Zenith" edition was the first to use the Devero Hotel in Cavenago di Brianza near Milan, a deliberate relocation from a mountain-resort format to a metro-accessible business hotel as attendance crossed 400.
Devero sold out, so Furizon brokered an overflow at AS Hotel Cambiago
Demand for Polaris 2026 outran the Devero Hotel''s room block, so Furizon negotiated a discounted second-hotel agreement with AS Hotel Cambiago, a 4★ property a few minutes off the A4 motorway with its own Armonia Spa & Wellness (heated indoor pool, two hydromassage tubs, sauna, Turkish bath, sensory showers).
