WildOut is an 18+ furry convention in Pieve di Cento, a small town in the province of Bologna in northern Italy. It is organised by WildOut APS, a volunteer association founded in 2024, and held its first event, Back2Fun, in April 2026. The second edition is set for April 23-25, 2027.
WildOut announced April 23, 24 and 25, 2027 as its new official dates, again in Pieve di Cento. Registration opens on October 16, 2026 through the WildOut website. No venue, theme or ticket prices for 2027 are public yet, so check the official Telegram announcement channel before booking travel. The 2027 edition runs over three days, one more than the first.
WildOut was set up to bring back what its founders call the original spirit of the fandom: meeting people face to face in a safe, welcoming place, in Italian and close to the Italian community. The first edition's programme included a hotel disco, karaoke, board games and a Dance Dance Revolution machine. Official announcements are posted in both Italian and English, so visitors from abroad can follow along. A standard ticket for the first edition cost €50 for both days, and you did not need to book a room to attend.
Pieve di Cento is in the plain north of Bologna, roughly 25 km from the city centre. For the first edition the organizers advised drivers coming from the west on the A1 motorway to leave at the Modena Nord exit, and otherwise to follow their satnav. Without a car, take a train to Bologna Centrale and walk to the Indipendenza Nord bus stop, then catch the 97C bus to the "Pieve di Cento Porta Bologna" stop. The organizers stressed that only the 97C goes to Pieve di Cento; other 97 variants go elsewhere. From that stop the 2026 hotel was about a ten-minute walk. Bologna Guglielmo Marconi airport is the nearest airport, with connections to Bologna Centrale, and the city's rail station has high-speed links to Milan, Florence and Rome. These directions were published for the 2026 venue, so recheck them once the 2027 venue is announced.

The first edition was held at the RHI Porta Bologna hotel, and attendees booked rooms directly with the hotel by email. Booking a room was optional; the organizers said a ticket alone was enough to attend. No 2027 hotel is confirmed yet, so wait for the announcement before booking a room in Pieve di Cento. Pieve di Cento is a small town, so book early once the venue is known. Bologna has a much wider range of hotels and is linked to Pieve di Cento by the 97C bus, which makes it a practical base if the convention hotel is full or you want to see the city as well. Check the last bus times on the published 97 timetable if you plan to stay for the late-night disco and travel back to Bologna.

Sponsor and Exclusive tickets, which included gadgets, closed on April 15, 2026. Standard tickets stayed on sale until the event, but without a personalised badge after that date. Booking a hotel room was not required to attend.
WildOut's first event, Back2Fun, ran April 25-26, 2026 at the RHI Porta Bologna hotel in Pieve di Cento with a 1990s theme. It had a disco on the main stage, karaoke, a games area with Dance Dance Revolution, a fursuit lounge and opening and closing ceremonies. Standard tickets cost €50, with Sponsor and Exclusive tiers at €75 and €120. The organizers thanked attendees for coming in large numbers but did not publish a headcount.

A club inside the hotel
The first edition took over a hotel with its own disco, so the Saturday night party happened in a real club space without leaving the building. A separate games area with board games and Dance Dance Revolution stayed open for anyone who wanted a quieter night.
