SOCOM

SOCOM is Sachsen Furs e.V.'s annual self-service furry camping convention at Rabeninsel near Jena. SOCOM XVII runs from May 20 to May 23, 2027, and attendees must be 18 or older. It is built around outdoor community time with a light schedule, and attendees bring their own camping gear, food, and drinks.

What to Expect

SOCOM is a relaxed camping weekend with no fixed programme beyond a possible fursuit walk and Saturday Soljanka. On arrival, look for the big white tent, because registration is signposted from there. The organizer provides toilets, warm-water showers, and shared power in the large tent, while attendees set up their own camping arrangements and organize their own grills and meals. The official guide says the earliest arrival is Thursday at 14:00 and the site closes Sunday at 12:00.

How to Get Tickets

The official 2026 price page listed a EUR 20 participation fee plus EUR 12 per night for camping. Those prices describe the completed 2026 edition, and the organizer warns that 2027 prices may differ. How to Get There

The official travel page gives the address as Rabeninsel 1, 07778 Neuengönna. The site is reached from Porstendorf station by walking toward Golmsdorf, crossing the bridge, and following the signs to the campsite and Rabeninsel. Drivers should follow the organizer's B88 directions because the event area is reached through the campsite and paths around the lake.
