From attendees
Nashville's logistics make this an accessible destination convention:
Curated stays near Sheraton Music City Nashville Airport, Nashville, United States.
Nashum FurCon has secured a well-suited venue for its debut:
While initially discussed for 2025, the organizers chose to focus on a full launch in 2026. No event was held in 2025, allowing the team to secure the Sheraton Music City and finalize the "JURASSIC POSSUM" theme for 2026.

3 quirks & policies that don't fit the highlights grid.
Nashum AD (After Dark): a published 18+ track with its own CoC
Most inaugural cons launch with one generic "18+ rated content rooms" disclaimer. Nashum runs Nashum AD (After Dark) as a parallel 18+ event with its own published Code of Conduct, and the mechanics go several steps further than the usual rated-room boilerplate:
Three Tennessee-themed mascots and the JURASSIC POSSUM identity build
Nashum FurCon shipped year one with a three-mascot ensemble rather than the usual single mascot most inaugural cons launch with:
Published refund ladder: 3-month full refund, 2-month rollover cutoff
Most furcons handle refunds via a one-line "no refunds after X date" or by routing all cancellations through Telegram DMs. Nashum publishes a structured, dated ladder on its public Refund Policy page: a 3-month full-refund window for cancellations made well in advance, and a 2-month cutoff after which money can no longer be refunded but the badge can be rolled over to the next edition. That published two-stage policy is unusually transparent for an inaugural year, where the more common pattern is a vague "case-by-case" line. Pairing it with the one-badge-per-registrant rule (the FAQ explicitly answers the "I want a badge for all 72 of my characters" question with a clean no) tells attendees the registration system is built for long-term, repeat-customer machinery rather than a launch-year scramble.
