Furry Weekend Atlanta (FWA) 2027 is scheduled for May 6-9, 2027 in Atlanta, United States. The announced theme is Grand Prix. Guest of honor information lists Faru of Big Lion's Den.

Standard and Sponsor are priced in THREE dated windows and the cheapest has gone: presale opened 1 July 2026 at 90 and 170, early bird took over on 1 August at the 100 and 180 recorded above, and standard pricing starts 1 March 2027 at 120 and 200. The top three tiers carry a single price in every window. The recorded early-bird saving of 20 is the SPONSOR step; Standard only saves 20 as well but the two lower windows differ by 10 each, so no single number describes the whole ladder. Under-18s need a consent form signed in person or notarized at every age band, and under-13s additionally need an adult chaperone with them at all times in convention space.

FWA 2026 drew 17,301 attendees to the Marriott Marquis and Hyatt Regency on May 7 to 10, a 2.45% dip from 2025's 17,736 record. Guests of Honor: Kipper and IvyComb. Charity total: $150,000 to Lost-n-Found Youth, matching 2025. Theme: a surreal liminal-space concept that fit the Marquis's atrium architecture. Notable cultural moment of the weekend: the IEM Atlanta 2026 CS2 tournament moving into the Georgia World Congress Center on May 11, with CS2 pros sharing downtown hotels and MARTA stops with fursuiters.
FWA 2025 set a record with 17,736 attendees at the Marriott Marquis and Hyatt Regency in Atlanta. The convention raised $150,000 for Lost-n-Found Youth, with Red Means Recording, Sasha R. Jones, and Jonathan Vair Duncan as Guests of Honor.
The 2024 edition drew 15,021 attendees under the "Furry University 2" theme, a sequel to the 2014 campus theme. FWA raised $100,000 for Lost-n-Found Youth, with WickedInsignia as Guest of Honor.
FWA 2023 drew 10,328 attendees and marked the first year partnering with Lost-n-Found Youth, raising $75,000. Jacato served as Guest of Honor under the "The Lost City" theme.
FWA returned to in-person after the pandemic with 7,212 attendees and El Ranno as Guest of Honor. The "The Enchanted Forest" theme had been planned for the cancelled 2020 edition and the online-only 2021 event, then finally ran in full. The convention raised $45,000 for Conservator's Center.

AmericasMart Building 3 joins the footprint in 2026
Starting in 2026 the Vendor Hall moved out of the Hyatt and into AmericasMart Building 3 (250 Spring St NW), the same trade-mart infrastructure Dragoncon uses each Labor Day. The move grew general vendor space ~50% (~400 vendors) and adult vendor space ~400% (~40 vendors), with sleeping rooms still entirely in hotel towers.
Charity dollars never touch FWA finances
At the Lost-n-Found Youth charity auction, bidders use their MyFWA registration number and pay directly at LNFY's on-floor cashier table, the funds never pool through FWA accounts first. Unusual mechanic among US furry-con auctions and a reason the multi-year $150k+ totals are credible.
Peace Tie prop-weapon process
Prop weapons require pre-approval at registration and receive a physical Peace Tie, a bonded marker so floor security can tell at a glance which props have already cleared inspection. The same policy section bans drones, selfie sticks and undercover recording devices on the convention floor.
