Founders Dinner and the Night Badge: after-dark on-ramps
MFM's tier ladder ends at a $500 Founders level, whose perk is not a bigger merch bag but a private Founders Dinner plus the Super Sponsor / Founder reception. Attending starts at $75 pre-reg ($80 at the door); Sponsorship is $120; Super Sponsorship $240; Founders $500. Daily passes were retired, the Sunday walk-in is now pro-rated to $20 (Friday full $80, Saturday $60, Sunday $20).
Five co-directors and the Tiger Haven enclosure legacy
MFM's `/directors/` page names five co-directors who share what other cons assign to a single convention chair, an explicitly unusual organisational style for a US furry con. That distributed model has held the show together across a 29-year run.
The 2025 Vitality Hotel reset: a forced move after 15 years at Whispering Woods
From 2010 through 2024, MFM ran at the Whispering Woods Hotel in Olive Branch, Mississippi, fifteen straight editions. In January 2025 the org announced the move home to Memphis: Whispering Woods had "entered an agreement with a company to rent out the entire hotel", forcing MFM to find a new venue.
