Mephit Fur Meet has operated continuously since 1997 in Memphis, Tennessee, with 791 attendees in 2025. Known for its close-knit atmosphere, it has partnered with Tiger Haven wildlife sanctuary for its annual charity drive.
After decades of managing space constraints, MFM has moved to a new venue. For the September 4-6, 2026 convention, the event takes place at the recently remodeled Memphis Vitality Hotel.
This move provides 2.5x the previous capacity (up to 300 rooms), with all convention space on a single floor. The edition carries a "Historical Fantasy" theme, and programming continues the convention's decades-long charity partnership with Tiger Haven big cat sanctuary.
