Texas Furry Fiesta 2026 ran March 26-29 and drew 9,135 attendees to the Sheraton Dallas Hotel, marking a 5.6% increase from 2025's 8,650 and keeping it the biggest furry convention in Texas that we have documented. The event raised $42,183.70 for C.A.R.E. (Center for Animal Research and Education), slightly below 2025's $51,500.69 charity total but maintaining the convention's strong commitment to exotic animal welfare.
The "Star Peet" theme leaned into high-concept science fiction, with the convention's signature high-energy "Furry Fiesta" atmosphere amplified by space-opera decor, themed panels, and elaborate stage productions. Finn the Panther, Beetlecat Originals, and Part Time Dragons served as Guests of Honor, bringing a mix of fursuit performance, art, and community presence to the weekend.
Dallas's central US location and the Sheraton's spacious venue (shared with the former A-Kon anime convention) gave TFF room to spread out across multiple programming tracks, dealers den, dances, and a notably large fursuit lounge. The convention has now cleared 9,000 attendees, putting it on pace to challenge the long-established West Coast cons.
TFF 2025 drew 8,650 attendees and raised $51,500.69 for CARE. Nonstoppup, TiggerPup, and Nafierye served as Guests of Honor.
TFF 2024 drew 8,001 attendees and raised $35,456 for CARE. Chise, Lady Rain, and Failyn/BlackCheetah served as Guests of Honor.

CARE: the exotic-animal sanctuary TFF funds
Texas Furry Fiesta's recurring charity is the Center for Animal Research and Education (CARE), a 20-acre exotic-animal sanctuary founded in 2003 that rescues big cats, lemurs, llamas, and retired performing cats.
Sheraton Dallas: 220K sq ft, 1,800 rooms
TFF runs out of the Sheraton Dallas Hotel at 400 North Olive Street: 1,800+ guest rooms and over 220,000 square feet of meeting space, enough that the whole convention fits inside a single tower.
The Adult Dealers Den, AD Rodeo, and TFF's juried vendor model
Starting in 2026, TFF launches its first-ever Adult Dealers Den alongside the standard Dealers Den. A single juried application now covers both rooms, the Artist Alley, and the AD Rodeo, an 18+ vendor experience TFF first ran in 2024 with a rodeo motif.
