Nite Market, a parallel uncensored 18+ marketplace with its own DJ programme
Stratosfur runs two parallel commerce tracks on Saturday night that most US furcons collapse into one. The daytime PG Dealer''s Den ($150 per 6 ft × 3 ft table) and Artist Alley ($30 per half-table) close, and the Nite Market opens at 20:00 in the Grand Foyer with its own vendor application, its own mailing list, and its own table tier ($120 for a full table). Adult material can be displayed uncensored, but feral NSFW and cub NSFW are explicitly banned, and all photography and videography in the room are prohibited so attendees can browse freely.
Land acknowledgement in the primary navigation
Stratosfur publishes a land acknowledgement as a dedicated page in its primary site navigation, naming the Karankawa, Atakapa, and Akokisa peoples as the original inhabitants of the Houston area and linking the American Indian Center of Houston as the resource that helped draft the statement.
Texas Sales Tax Permit required across all three vendor rooms
Selling at Stratosfur means clearing one Texas-specific hurdle that recurs across all three vendor tracks: every Dealer''s Den exhibitor, Artist Alley artist, AND Nite Market vendor must hold a Texas Sales Tax Permit (free from the state Comptroller) unless they are a registered charity or demo-only. Stratosfur publishes the Comptroller link directly on each vendor page and warns that vendors are personally responsible for collecting and remitting Texas sales tax.
