The official registration page currently lists a Basic badge at $95 CAD through November 1, plus Supporter, Sponsor, Patron and Night Lord tiers. Its public page also carries some old 2026 merchandise wording and inconsistent hotel-booking deadlines, so check the organizer's current registration terms before paying for a premium tier. The organizer's 2027 charity page names QMUNITY as the partner, with no result amount yet. Guests of Honor have not been named in the sources reviewed.

The March 5-8, 2026 edition used the Wonderland theme and partnered with QMUNITY. Its published $20,000 figure was a matched-donation commitment, not a final post-event total; an exact attendance figure is still unconfirmed.
VancouFur 2025 drew 2,298 attendees to the Richmond Conference Centre. The event raised $14,016.90 for Qmunity, with Ivycomb as Guest of Honor.

Tier-priority hotel booking and a guaranteed-room tier
VancouFur offers hotel booking links to fully paid attendees by registration tier: Patron, Sponsor, Supporter and then general attendees. The current Night Lord tier includes a guaranteed four-night room in the main hotel block. The public hotel and registration pages differ on booking deadlines and list some older 2026 details, so check the organizer's current booking message before making plans.
Custom VRChat worlds + on-domain Minecraft server as a Digital Attendance track
VancouFur runs three parallel attendance modalities: physical (Richmond Conference Centre), VRChat, and Minecraft. The VRChat track ships a custom themed world built per edition, 2025's Digital Ocean edition launched a VancouFur Pirate world with a vendors hall and live-streaming portals that broadcast the physical Thursday/Friday/Saturday dances at 10pm-2am PST plus a Saturday two-way Social VR Meetup. The Minecraft track runs a persistent server named EvfurQuest with a public dynmap tile-viewer hosted on the con's own domain at vancoufur.org/dynmap. Most furcons either skip digital tracks or post a passive YouTube stream; VancouFur builds engineered infrastructure on its own domain for both VR and Minecraft, and rebuilds the VR world to match each year's theme.
BCAEA Society three-event portfolio with a $60,000+ QMUNITY ledger
VancouFur is run by the British Columbia Anthropomorphic Events Association (BCAEA), a registered not-for-profit incorporated under the BC Societies Act in 2015 and an FCLR member. BCAEA also runs Vanhoover Pony Expo (the largest Canadian MLP-fandom convention, January) and Tails of Summer (2026 inaugural, July, 19+). The portfolio shares its registration platform (CivetSolutions Convention Master), its IT Infrastructure Lead (LinuxAvali), its web designer (ShadowsMyst), the card icon library authored by inconsnova, and its AUP boilerplate (including the BCAEA-Society-level $10,000 CAD damages clause for unauthorized media licensing). VancouFur has partnered with QMUNITY, the Vancouver 2SLGBTQIA+ resource centre, since 2021, and has raised over $60,000 cumulative for QMUNITY across that partnership. Funded initiatives include queer proms, expanded free gender-affirming garments for youth, expanded counselling for LGBTQ2SAI+ families and youth, and expanded QMUNITY staffing hours. The 2026 figure is a $20,000 CAD matched-donation commitment, timed to QMUNITY's 45th anniversary.
