Calfurry's third edition runs August 20-22, 2027, and it moves. The convention announced the theme, the dates and a new home in one post the day after the 2026 edition closed: The Furiendly Skies at the Hyatt Regency Calgary, downtown on Centre Street, rather than the Glenmore Inn in the south of the city.
That is the only detail published so far. Registration tiers, the hotel room block, the guest line-up and the charity partner have not been announced, and the 2026 prices belong to the old venue, so treat nothing from last year as a guide to what a badge will cost.

Early-bird pricing ended March 1, 2026. Carousel is the current available online tier at $90; Bumper Car, Ferris Wheel, and Roller Coaster are sold out. The official site lists on-site prices of $100 for three days, $40 for Friday, $50 for Saturday, and $40 for Sunday.
Calfurry's second edition turned the Glenmore Inn into Furryland Park for the Labour Day weekend and welcomed 1,563 guests, which the convention counted as 395 more than its first year. The weekend raised CA$8,500 for Furball Force Animal Rescue, the same Alberta shelter it supported in 2025, through a live charity auction and a 50/50 draw run from the charity's own booth. It closed with a Grande Finale streamed on Twitch, and the convention used it to announce that 2027 moves downtown.
The first-ever Calfurry drew 1,168 attendees to Calgary. Featuring YouTuber Zee the Raccoon, the convention raised $10,000 for Furball Force Animal Rescue.

A downtown move for 2027, with the room block still to come
Calfurry leaves the Glenmore Inn after two editions and takes The Furiendly Skies to the Hyatt Regency Calgary downtown on August 20-22, 2027. Through 2026 it ran a two-hotel setup, the Glenmore Inn itself plus Hotel Blackfoot 10-15 minutes away, both from CA$164/night. Nothing has been published yet about rooms or rates at the new venue, so wait for the convention before booking.
The Alberta double act: Fur-Eh lineage and an Edmonton Christmas Party
Calfurry''s parent non-profit, Alberta Anthropomorphics Ltd., runs three things under one roof: the September convention, year-round Club Calfurry events, and the Calfurry Christmas Party in Edmonton (Dec 20, 2025 at the Edmonton Inn & Conference Centre, live bands BONE DUCK, WereWING + Robin Hearts, Daryl Dee & The Chickadees, plus photos with Santa Tiggs).
Charity continuity with a single-animal traceable outcome
Calfurry raised CA$10,000 for Furball Force Animal Rescue in 2025, renewed it for 2026 rather than rotating, and raised CA$8,500 for it that year. Furball Force is an Alberta shelter focused on animals "often overlooked due to age, special needs, behavioural issues."
