Fur-Eh! holds the proud title of Alberta's inaugural furry convention! Conceived in 2010 and launching its first event in 2012, it has exploded into Western Canada's flagship gathering, drawing passionate attendees from across the globe to Edmonton, Alberta.

What makes Fur-Eh! completely unique is its fiercely competitive spirit. The convention is famous for its massive, all-weekend "House" competitions that divide attendees into teams to battle for ultimate bragging rights!

For its July 16-19, 2026 run, the convention leans heavily into nostalgia with its "Retro Barkade" theme. Expect the massive dual-venue setup—utilizing both the Wyndham Edmonton Hotel and the adjacent Delta Hotels Edmonton South—to be completely transformed with synthwave aesthetics, high-score tournaments, and incredible 80s/90s energy.

The move to a dual-hotel strategy ensures there is plenty of room for this rapidly growing convention. Between the massive charity drives (raising nearly $18,000 for GEARS in 2025) and the intense House rivalries, Fur-Eh! provides an unbelievably engaging community experience.
