SeaFur held SF07 August 14-16, 2026, at the Shanghai Construction Pujiang Crowne Plaza in Minhang District. The three-year-anniversary edition used the theme "沧海瓷吟" and sold tickets through the SeaFur海兽聚 WeChat mini-program. No official post-con attendance, charity, or guest-of-honor figure has been published.
SeaFur held its winter 2026 edition February 6-8 at the Shanghai Marriott Hotel Kangqiao. The theme drew on the Nuo mask-driving ritual that historically marked the pre-Spring-Festival pestilence-clearing period, with a story about the "Haichuan Chunxia siblings" leading attendees in song. The four-tier ticket ladder spanned ¥258 to ¥4688.
SeaFur held its summer edition August 15-17, 2025, continuing the convention's pattern of running multiple seasonal gatherings throughout the year. Attendee feedback from the SF05 post-con survey specifically praised the production quality and the raised-camera arrangements for the all-con group photo.

Theme-rotated tier names rooted in Chinese myth vocabulary
SeaFur renames every reg tier each edition to fit the theme's mythological register. SF06 (Feb 2026, "傩祓岁破") ran a four-tier ladder named after Nuo mask-driving ritual concepts: 傩面冠 Nuo Mask Crown (¥258, single-day pass + commemorative material), 灵跃魂 Spirit Leap Soul (¥298, full event pass + offering items), 云扬鬃 Cloud-borne Mane (¥2188, mid-sponsor with paired passes), and 嘉漠夺 Jia Mo Duo (¥4688, top sponsor). A "四客同游" four-friend bundle takes ¥100 off each ticket when four are bought together. Names change every edition, searches for "SeaFur super sponsor" or generic Attending/Sponsor/Patron labels never hit the page because the ladder is always pinned to the year's myth. The naming spine is consistent (Chinese ritual / mythological compounds) even when the specific terms rotate.
Twice-yearly Chinese-calendar cadence, year-three anniversary
SeaFur runs a winter-and-summer half-yearly cadence rather than the annual cycle most furcons use, with each edition's theme pinned to a Chinese-calendar moment. From the January 2023 inaugural, the con shipped seven completed editions over three calendar years (SF01-SF06, plus the August 2025 summer edition "枕海入梦" Pillowed Sea Dream), with SF07 "沧海瓷吟" Porcelain Song of the Vast Sea explicitly billed as the three-year-anniversary edition (August 14-16, 2026). The half-yearly clock keeps the brand's themes tied to Chinese seasonal / ritual moments SF06 ran into the pre-Spring-Festival window with a Nuo-mask pestilence-driving theme; SF07 sits in mid-summer with a porcelain-trade story arc, a consistent editorial spine other Chinese furcons running annual cycles don't have the slot count to sustain.
