FUR:RAID 2026 is scheduled for Oct 9-11, 2026 at Hotel Square Ansan Conference Hall. The announced theme is FIELDTRIP.
FUR:RAID is a smaller South Korean furry convention with its own official branding and event identity rather than just being a side label under another Korean con.
The next edition runs October 9-11, 2026 at Hotel Square Ansan Conference Hall under the official FIELDTRIP theme. Earlier reports of a move to Goyang turned out to be incorrect; the convention stays in Ansan, on the second and third floors of Hotel Square Ansan, a five-minute walk from Sihwa Station.
For South Korea coverage, that matters. The Korean scene is no longer a one-event story, and FUR:RAID helps round out the map below the flagship level. It looks best treated as a smaller, regional convention weekend rather than a mega-con draw, which is still useful if you want a more local Korean event close to Seoul.

From attendees
The nearest major airport is Incheon International Airport (ICN), with Gimpo International Airport (GMP) as a closer domestic option. Ansan is reachable from Seoul via Seoul Subway Line 4, which takes roughly 1 hour 20 minutes. Direct buses also run from Dong Seoul Bus Terminal to Ansan Express Bus Terminal. From Incheon Airport, bus services connect directly to the Ansan area.
Curated stays near Goyang, South Korea.
Hotel Square Ansan has previously served as the convention venue and offers 203 rooms near Choji Station on Subway Line 4. The Ansan area also has a selection of budget motels and guesthouses near the subway stations. If you prefer to stay in Seoul and commute, the subway connection makes day trips feasible.
FUR:RAID 2025 ran October 10-12 at Hotel Square Ansan under the PLAYGROUND theme. The event leaned on community building and regional creator support across its three-day October weekend.

3 quirks & policies that don't fit the highlights grid.
Replica-firearm prop rules: visible color parts required
FUR:RAID''s prop policy requires visible color parts on any replica firearm carried as part of a costume, and only EVA foam, PVC, plastic, rubber, or wood are permitted as build materials. The colored-marker rule reflects South Korean compliance norms around realistic-looking replicas; most peer cons publish a generic "no realistic weapons" line, FUR:RAID codifies both an appearance and a materials whitelist.
Pass shop on a separate Production GAL subdomain
Registration doesn''t live on `furraid.kr` — it routes to a separate Production GAL pass-shop subdomain at `pdgpa.productiongal.com` ("Production GAL Pass Application"). The main site runs on Korean ImWeb (아임웹) SaaS with Toss Payments checkout, and the split-subdomain pattern lets the parent org reuse one pass-shop for any future Production GAL event.
Trilingual site reflects East Asian attendee mix
The convention publishes its site in Korean, English, and Japanese rather than KR-only, an explicit signal the org expects cross-border attendees from Japan in particular. Programming includes the 퍼리 가왕전 (Furry Got Talent) singing competition, 테일스핀 트랙스 music party, and a 단체 댄스 group-dance segment across ten distinct tracks.
