FURST CLASS is a furry convention based in South Korea, with its 2026 edition scheduled at the Swiss Grand Hotel in Seoul. The event is known for its music-focused social programming and has held editions in multiple Korean cities, including Busan and Cheongju in 2025.
Set in Seoul, FURST CLASS is known for its music-heavy social atmosphere and active fursuiting scene. It offers a window into the Korean fandom identity, often featuring distinct night-event formats and city-specific experiences that change with each edition, such as their 2025 events in Busan and Cheongju.
The 2026 edition, Paws Roastery, ran April 3-5 at the Swiss Grand Hotel Seoul and has concluded. A second 2026 edition is scheduled for November 28-29 at the Enford Hotel Cheongju. South Korea's well-developed transit system makes the Seoul venue accessible via the Seoul Subway for both local and international attendees.

The Swiss Grand Hotel Seoul is most easily reached via Gimpo International Airport (GMP), about 15 minutes by car or taxi. Gimpo handles most domestic Korean flights and select international routes from Japan, China, and Taiwan. For long-haul international flights, Incheon International Airport (ICN) is roughly 40 minutes away by car or airport limousine bus.
Seoul's subway system connects directly to both airports. From the hotel area in the Hongje/Bulgwang neighborhood, take Seoul Metro Line 3 or Line 6 to reach central Seoul or transfer to the airport rail lines. Taxis in Seoul are affordable and widely available, with most accepting credit cards and T-money transit cards.

The convention takes place at the Swiss Grand Hotel Seoul (formerly the Grand Hilton Seoul), a five-star property in the Hongeun-dong neighborhood of western Seoul. The hotel sits on a hillside surrounded by parkland, with an outdoor pool, fitness center, and multiple dining options on-site. Room rates typically start around $99 USD per night through major booking platforms, making it a competitive option for a five-star venue. Check the official FURST CLASS website for any negotiated group rates or booking codes.
FURST CLASS 2026 ran April 3-5 at Swiss Grand Hotel Seoul with the Paws Roastery theme. Official ticket/event pages remain available, but no final attendance or charity data has been published yet.
FURST CLASS launched on January 27-28, 2024, at the Commodore Hotel Busan. It was the first hotel-rental furry event in South Korea. What the organizers initially planned as a one-time experiment drew a strong enough response to continue.
A second major edition followed on November 22-25, 2024, at the Golden Tulip Incheon Airport Hotel, with attendance reportedly more than doubling from the first edition. Between these two, a pilot "FURST CLASS_Trip" was held December 19-20 at a fully rented hotel on Jeju Island, operating as a free photo session with no formal programming.
FURST CLASS expanded to new cities in 2025. "Dragon and Tiger" ran July 12-13 in Cheongju with an after-party format called "Drunken Tiger Lounge." A "Hot Spring Trip" edition followed November 15-16 at Hotel Nongshim in Busan, centered on club-style DJ events. By the end of 2025, FURST CLASS had held events in four different Korean cities.

3 quirks & policies that don't fit the highlights grid.
Airline-cabin tier ladder with literal boarding-priority Sunday entry
FURST CLASS runs a five-tier airline cabin ladder, Passenger, Economy Class, Business Class, First Class, VIP, and operationalises the metaphor on the floor: Sunday entry is staggered by tier exactly like airline boarding groups, with First Class entering at 11:00, Business Class at 12:00, and Economy Class at 13:00. Walk-ins land on the Passenger tier specifically, where merchandise (vests, t-shirts, arm pads) can sell out before the queue reaches them, making walk-in a feature-loss, not just a price bump. The 2026 Paws Roastery coffee-shop theme is layered on top of the airline brand without replacing the cabin-class mechanic.
Four cities in 2025, two editions in 2026: a touring con, not a fixed venue
Most furcons anchor to a single host hotel. FURST CLASS toured four Korean cities in 2025 alone, Seoul, Busan, Cheongju and Jeju, and is running two editions in 2026: April 3-5 Paws Roastery at Swiss Grand Hotel Seoul and a second Nov 28-29 edition at Enford Hotel Cheongju. Each stop reskins the airline brand with city-flavoured sub-themes (Busan's Hot Spring Trip took over Hotel Nongshim's Heosimcheong spa).
imweb.me + Witchform + Naver Smartstore: no on-site cart
The official site runs on Korean SaaS builder imweb.me with ticket checkout routed entirely to external rails: Witchform plus Naver Smartstore. There is no on-site cart and KRW prices are not published on furst-class.com itself, the checkout flow is the price page. That's the standard Korean furry-con e-commerce pattern (FurryJoA does the same via a single Naver SmartStore SKU with hidden option variants).
