Super Furry Fusion (极兽聚, SFF) is a furry culture expo held in Shanghai, China, founded in 2018. The organizers do not publish attendance figures, so how it ranks against other mainland Chinese events is not something we can verify. Unlike most hotel-based conventions, it runs as a public, ticketed exhibition-hall event, with a one-day summer edition each August and a separate multi-day winter sister-event.
Super Furry Fusion returns for a single day on August 2, 2026 at the World Trade Exhibition Hall (世贸展馆) in Shanghai's Changning District, under the theme 棱彩演化 (an approximate English gloss is "Prismatic Evolution"). As a summer expo, the day packs dealer booths, fursuit gatherings, and stage programming into one high-energy session.
Ticket pricing for the 2026 edition is not yet published on the official site.
Super Furry Fusion is a flagship date on the mainland Chinese furry calendar. Its exhibition-hall format gives it a different feel from the hotel cons common in North America and Europe: a concentrated, expo-style show floor built around fursuiting, art, and community photos. For anyone in or visiting East Asia who wants to see the scale of China's fandom in one place, SFF is the headline date, with its winter counterpart, Winter Furry Fusion, filling out the calendar.

By air: Shanghai is served by two major airports, Shanghai Hongqiao International (SHA), close to the Changning District venue, and Shanghai Pudong International (PVG) further east. Hongqiao is the more convenient arrival point for the exhibition hall.
By transit: Shanghai's Metro network reaches the Changning District and the Hongqiao area directly; check the official event page near the date for the exact station and hall entrance.

As a single-day exhibition-hall expo, Super Furry Fusion does not run an official hotel block. The venue sits in the Changning District of central Shanghai, which has a dense range of hotels at every price point within easy Metro reach. Book based on proximity to the Hongqiao transport hub for the simplest arrival.
Super Furry Fusion debuted on July 29, 2018 in Shanghai and has run as an annual summer expo since. The organizers, Shanghai Tanmoe Culture Co., Ltd., also established a winter sibling event, Winter Furry Fusion (冬兽聚). Detailed per-year attendance and theme records are not published on official channels.
