Winter Furry Fusion (冬兽聚, WFF) is a furry convention in Shanghai, China, held each December. It is the winter edition of the Furry Fusion family, run by the same organizers behind Super Furry Fusion (极兽聚, SFF), the much larger summer expo. The official event index explicitly labels the WFF series from 2019 onward; its 2018 entry is labelled Super Furry Fusion.
A December 2026 edition has not been announced as of mid-2026, but the official index documents an annual WFF series from 2019 through 2025, so another edition is plausible. Dates, venue, and registration will be posted through the organizer's site (furrychina.com) and Chinese channels. The most recent edition ran in December 2025 at Crowne Plaza Shanghai Xiayang Lake in Qingpu; check the official site for the 2026 announcement before making travel plans.
Winter Furry Fusion is the smaller winter event from the team behind Super Furry Fusion. Where its summer sibling is a one-day expo in a Shanghai exhibition hall, WFF is a hotel fursuit meet focused on suiting, photography, and community time rather than a large program. For visitors, it is a way to experience the mainland scene in Shanghai during the quieter winter season. The official index documents the WFF name annually from 2019 onward.
By air: Shanghai is served by Pudong International (PVG) and Hongqiao International (SHA). The venue is in Qingpu District in the west of the city, closest to Hongqiao.
By transit: Shanghai's metro is extensive, though Qingpu sits toward the western edge of the network; from Hongqiao, allow time for the final connection or use a ride-hail. Recent editions have used the Crowne Plaza in Qingpu.
By car: The venue is on Qingzhou Road in Qingpu District. Ride-hailing apps are the most practical way for visitors to reach the hotel.

Recent Winter Furry Fusion editions have been held at Crowne Plaza Shanghai Xiayang Lake in Qingpu, an international-brand hotel by Xiayang Lake, so the simplest option is to book a room in the host hotel and stay where the meet happens.
Confirm the 2026 host hotel on the official site before booking, as the venue can shift between editions within the Qingpu area.

Winter Furry Fusion ran December 22-24, 2023 at Crowne Plaza Shanghai Xiayang Lake. Its event notice sets out a three-day, two-night hotel format with Dealers Den, panels, and stage programming, but the checked routes do not publish a final attendance, charity, theme, Guest of Honor, or price figure.
No dated record is held for this year. The write-up below is what the page says about it.
The official event index labels the 2018 entry Super Furry Fusion rather than Winter Furry Fusion. The first entry explicitly labelled Winter Furry Fusion is in 2019, and the relationship between the 2018 summer event and the later WFF series is not stated clearly enough to publish a WFF launch claim. From 2022 onward, the winter event dropped individual theme names in the checked index.
