Furrymosa 2027 has upcoming dates to be announced at Sanchong Sports Center Exhibition Hall.
Furrymosa is a Taiwan furry event in New Taipei City with a compact one-day format and a clear community-first feel. It sits below Taiwan's largest hotel-scale events, but it has enough continuity to matter if you want a fuller picture of the local scene.
The official site currently lists June 6, 2026 for the next edition, with the event set for the first-floor exhibition hall at New Taipei City Sanchong Sports Center. That makes Furrymosa one of the cleaner Taiwan additions for this directory: it has its own site, a stable city identity, and a recurring slot on the local calendar.
Community reporting around the event often places it in the roughly 500-attendee range and traces the series back to 2019. Even if the exact headcount can vary year to year, the important point is that Furrymosa is no longer a one-off meetup. It is a recurring Taiwan event with enough history to justify its own page.

Most international visitors fly into Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport (TPE), which connects to the Sanchong area via the Taoyuan Airport MRT line. Sanchong Station is served by both the Taipei Metro Orange Line and the Airport MRT commuter service. From central Taipei, the Sanchong district is a short MRT ride across the Tamsui River, making it easy to reach from anywhere in the metro area.

Since Furrymosa is a single-day event, many attendees base themselves in central Taipei and commute via MRT. The Sanchong and Taipei Main Station areas both offer a wide range of hotels at various price points. Budget travelers can find hostels near Taipei Main Station, while the Sanchong district itself has local business hotels within walking distance of the MRT.
Furrymosa launched on May 27, 2017, at the Sanchong Sports Center in New Taipei City. Named after the Portuguese "Ilha Formosa" (Beautiful Island), it established itself as Taiwan's premier one-day kemono art marketplace. The event is co-organized by the Furrymosa Executive Group, GJ Studio, and Infurnity. Editions 2 and 3 followed in June 2018 and June 2019 at the same venue, with growing dealer circle counts each year.
Furrymosa 4 was originally scheduled for June 2020 but was cancelled due to COVID-19. It was rescheduled to June 2021, only to be cancelled again on May 11, 2021 when Taiwan escalated its pandemic alert level. The event went two full years without an edition.
Furrymosa 4 finally took place on June 11, 2022, at the familiar Sanchong Sports Center. Since then, the event has returned to a reliable annual June schedule with editions 5 through 7 running in 2023, 2024, and 2025. The event hosts approximately 150 vendor circles and has remained at the same venue throughout its entire history.

3 quirks & policies that don't fit the highlights grid.
Kemoket-modeled doujinshi fair, not a hotel con: ¥200 NTD door, no tier ladder
Furrymosa deliberately mirrors Japan's Kemoket doujinshi-convention format rather than the Western hotel-scale con: a single-day fair with a flat 200 NTD door admission, no badges, no sponsor ladder, no walk-in delta. The whole event is one room of roughly 150 vendor circles. That structural choice means Furrymosa is closer to a Comiket-style spot sale than a programming weekend.
Same Sanchong hall every year since 2017, run by an event-marketing company
Furrymosa has rebooked the Sanchong Sports Center first-floor exhibition hall every edition since its May 27, 2017 debut, with no venue change across nine editions. The same operator, GJ Studio (Gizit Integration Marketing Co.), books the hall for multiple ONLY-themed doujinshi fairs across the year, so Furrymosa inherits a predictable venue and operations playbook rather than running its own logistics from scratch.
Plurk as primary channel: Taiwan-default social network, not X
Furrymosa's primary community channel is Plurk (handle `furrymosa`), not X or Facebook, mirrors. That reflects Plurk's continued role as Taiwan's default furry/fandom social network long after it faded elsewhere. The official site is a single static HTML page on AWS S3 behind Cloudflare with an embedded Plurk feed widget, no CMS, no registration backend, no programming sub-pages.
