PAWAI, short for Party Along With Anthro Indonesia, is a separate Anthro Indonesia event in Bali. It is not the same event as IWAG. The brand, dates, venue, and official site all point to a distinct convention weekend with its own identity.
The official site currently lists October 3-4, 2026 for PAWAI 2026: Gods Paradise, with the event set at Hotel Grand Istana Rama in Kuta, Bali. That resort setting is a clear shift from IWAG's Greater Jakarta hotel model and is part of why the split matters.
For attendees, PAWAI looks like the more destination-style Indonesian option. Bali changes the travel math, the mood, and probably the social rhythm of the event even before programming details are filled in. If IWAG is the Jakarta-area anchor, PAWAI is the separate Bali branch that deserves its own listing.
PAWAI continued its series of successful Bali gatherings in 2025, focusing on creator networking and community building. These events solidified the regional presence ahead of the 2026 "Gods Paradise" iteration.
