Furcamp is a Brazilian outdoor furry convention held at Acampamento Terra do Saber in Cajamar, near Sao Paulo. Rather than a hotel setting, the event uses a campground with dormitory-style housing and communal meals, typically scheduled around Brazil's Carnival season in February.

The next edition is confirmed for February 5-9, 2027 at Acampamento Aruanã in Embu-Guaçu, a move away from the 2026 site at Acampamento Terra do Saber, under the "Galactic Groove!" theme. Furcamp does not run a Guest of Honor program; instead, part of the social-ticket price funds tree-seedling reforestation. Sao Paulo/Guarulhos International Airport (GRU) is the nearest major international airport, about 60 km from Cajamar. From GRU, you will need to arrange a taxi, rideshare, or private transfer to the Acampamento Terra do Saber, as there is no direct public transit to the campground. The drive takes roughly one hour depending on Sao Paulo metro traffic. Congonhas Airport (CGH), located within the city of Sao Paulo, is another domestic option.
From central Sao Paulo, the campground in Cajamar is reachable via the Rodovia Anhanguera (SP-330) highway heading northwest. Local bus lines (C392, C393, E391, E394, E396, E397) serve parts of the Cajamar area, but for the campground itself, private transportation or a coordinated group ride from the city is recommended. Check the Furcamp Telegram group for organized carpools and ride-sharing among attendees.
This is a camping convention. The venue, Acampamento Terra do Saber, is a premium campground in Cajamar that accommodates up to 190 overnight guests and 1,000 daytime visitors. Attendees sleep in the campground dormitory-style housing or in tents on designated camping areas. The site includes pools, playgrounds, game rooms, fishing lakes, volleyball and soccer fields, a sauna, and trails through Atlantic Forest terrain. All communal meals are provided as part of the experience. Camping gear is not included in registration, so bring your own supplies or coordinate with fellow attendees.

Booked into an evangelical Christian retreat camp
Acampamento Terra do Saber, the 2026 venue, is normally an evangelical Christian retreat camp founded in 2001, with capacity for 190 overnight guests and 1,000 daytime visitors. The relocation broke a four-edition run at Parque Estadual Intervales (São Paulo state park, 2019-2024) and is itself temporary: 2027 moves to Acampamento Aruanã in Embu-Guaçu rather than returning to either prior site.
Ticket-funded reforestation in lieu of charity beneficiary
FurCamp doesn''t run a single named charity partner, instead, part of the social-ticket price funds tree-seedling reforestation as a built-in line item.
