FurSMeet is a three-day furry convention in Santa Maria, in the centre of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, held in a hotel each November from 2023 to 2025. The organizers bill it as the first furry convention in southern Brazil and the second furry hotel convention in the country. They announced the 2025 edition as the last one before a hiatus, and no new edition has been announced.
There is no FurSMeet in 2026. When the 2025 edition opened its third ticket batch, the organizers invited people to attend "before its hiatus", and founder Prisma Jasmine posted a farewell note in December 2025 that ended with "até a próxima", until next time. Any return will be announced on the FurSMeet Telegram channel and the FurSMeet Bluesky account.
FurSMeet was built by and for the furry community of southern Brazil, and its organizers aimed it at furries from the South and from the rest of the country. Its editions mixed workshops, talks, games and a bazaar of community artists with a strong regional flavour, from its capybara mascot Capibára to ticket tiers named after regional gaúcho words. It also welcomed younger fans: in 2025, children up to 15 could attend with a parent and teens from 16 could attend with a signed authorization letter.

By air: The organizers note that Santa Maria has an airport, but its flights only connect with other cities in Rio Grande do Sul, so visitors from other states need a second flight or a bus for the last leg.
By bus: The organizers point out that Santa Maria's bus station has direct services from every city in Rio Grande do Sul, while travellers from other states usually need at least one connection, often in Porto Alegre. They place Santa Maria about four hours from Porto Alegre.
By car or ride share: The organizers suggested driving with friends to split the fuel, renting a car, or booking a shared ride between cities on BlaBlaCar a few weeks ahead.

The 2023 and 2025 editions ran inside Hotel Dom Rafael Business, at Avenida Nossa Senhora das Dores, 903, so staying there kept attendees in the same building as the event. The organizers arranged a discount for attendees who booked through the hotel's WhatsApp and said they were coming to FurSMeet, and rooms were never included in the ticket price. The 2024 edition moved to the Itaimbé Palace Hotel in Santa Maria, which also offered attendees a room discount. Any future edition will announce its own hotel and booking route.

The 2025 ticket page listed full and half-price (meia-entrada) prices plus a service fee. Online sales closed on November 12, 2025, and only the Pelego ticket was sold at the door, without the gifts.
FurSMeet 2025 ran from November 21 to 23 at Hotel Dom Rafael Business with a tabletop RPG theme. The Pelego ticket cost R$190, or R$95 at the half-price rate, and the top Capivara and Capivara Gold tiers sold out. Announced activities included the art and RPG workshops, a Magic tournament, a music set and a documentary screening.
FurSMeet 2024 ran from November 15 to 17 at the Itaimbé Palace Hotel, the event's first move away from Dom Rafael. Its dinosaur theme introduced a companion for Capibára based on Bagualosaurus agudoensis, a dinosaur whose fossils were found in Agudo, in the geological formation named after Santa Maria.
The first convention ran from November 24 to 26, 2023, at Hotel Dom Rafael Business. It followed two FurSMeetinho warm-up afternoons, the first in November 2022, which the organizers said had 19 people in total.
