Reaching Paipa involves travel through the Colombian highlands:

• Flying: El Dorado International Airport (BOG) in Bogota is the international gateway.
• Ground Transit: Paipa is approximately 3-4 hours north of Bogota by car.
• Bus Network: Regular buses depart from the Terminal de Transporte in Bogota to Paipa.

Moonfest offers bundled packages to simplify logistics:

• Estelar Paipa Hotel & Centro de Convenciones: The pet-friendly main venue. Convention packages for two or four people typically include a three-night stay, breakfast, and sometimes transportation from Bogota.

Moonfest's first edition ran July 10 to 13, 2026 at its host hotel in Colombia. The convention has not yet published a closing attendance figure, a charity beneficiary, or a theme, so those stay unrecorded rather than estimated. We will add them when the organisers publish them.
