Anthro Party Argentina is a new furry convention in Córdoba, Argentina, and the first furry hotel convention we have documented in the province. Run by the team behind the long-running Furcamp Cordobés campout, its 2026 debut moved the central-Argentina furry community into a hotel-convention format.
Anthro Party Argentina has not announced its second edition yet. The staff closed the 2026 weekend by promising a next edition, but no date, venue or badge price has been published. The door is strictly 18 and over, with physical ID checks, and in 2026 badges were sold only through the convention's own site behind a registered account. Anthro Party Argentina is a community milestone: the staff of Furcamp Cordobés stepping up from a campout tradition to a full hotel convention. It's pitched as a "federal" meeting point, a central hub drawing furries from across Argentina's interior provinces and Buenos Aires, with dance and karaoke competitions, DJ parties, a dealers den and artist fair, and fursuit-making and drawing workshops. The organizers even lean into a playful mock-university structure. For Argentine furries, it is a young convention that sold out its first year.

Anthro Party Argentina's 2026 edition was its first. It grew out of the Furcamp Cordobés campout tradition, a separate predecessor event, so there are no earlier Anthro Party editions.

The standard attending badge
The inaugural edition is sold out. Registration required an account on the official site; prices were not public without login. Payment was accepted in Argentine pesos through MercadoPago or US dollars through PayPal.
Its debut weekend, October 9-11, 2026, took place at Hotel Quinto Centenario in Córdoba and sold out a month ahead, when the convention announced on 10 September 2026 that every badge tier had gone. The guests were Cabura and Koshka Fursuits, and the weekend ran as a mock university, "la Universidad de APA!", with panels billed as classes and attendees as students. During the convention, attendees could donate to Pumakawa, which also ran a dealers-den table and gave a panel.
