Pawstral put Chile on the furry-convention map in 2025, and it's grown fast. As a winter-season con in central Santiago, it pairs a full hotel-convention program, guests, dealers, and parties, with a distinct local flavor: its themes and mascots draw on Chilean nature and culture, from a giant native wildcat rampaging through the city to the road-trip energy of "Furry Road." For 18+ furries in Chile and the wider Southern Cone, it's the flagship gathering of the region.

Pawstral's debut edition ran August 29-31, 2025 at the ICON Hotel in Santiago's Las Condes district, themed "Monster Invasion" (Invasión de Monstruos), with a mascot named Aylén, a giant colocolo wildcat. The 2026 edition moves to Hotel Le Méridien on the central Alameda.
