Did You Know?

  • *Vendor Hall divided into three sections: main vendors, artists' alley, and 18+ vendors
  • *On-site amenities include LAUGH Boston comedy club at the Westin lobby
  • *Artists Alley spaces are raffled daily for free, unusual since most cons charge for alley

2027: Sleepytime!

Anthro New England (ANE) 2027 is scheduled for Jan 14-17, 2027 at Westin Boston Seaport District + Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport. The announced theme is Sleepytime!. Guest of honor information lists Sean Chiplock, Snackpony, PrismPaws.

What Are the Highlights of Anthro New England?

  • Among the Largest: With 7,284 attendees in 2026, ANE ranks among the largest furry conventions worldwide.
  • It's a Western!: A frontier-inspired theme set against the January Boston backdrop.
  • Strong Transit Access: Accessible via Logan Airport (BOS) and the MBTA Silver Line.
  • Seaport District: Operating out of the Westin Boston Seaport District and surrounding partner hotels.

  • Patron, The All NighterSold out

Capped at 75 and gone. Added early hotel booking, a light-up standee, two Birch Bar drink tickets and 10% off the store

  • Donor, The Dream-WeaverSold out

Capped at 5 and gone. Added a custom badge with your fursona beside an ANE mascot, and 20% off the store

Early bird −$10 until 31 Aug 2026
Day pass $65 Friday, $65 Saturday, $55 Sunday, each sold online only on the day itself

PATRON AND DONOR ARE BOTH SOLD OUT - 75 and 5 slots respectively - and their prices are not published, so they are recorded at 0 rather than guessed. Super-Sponsor disappears entirely once Early-Bird ends on 30 November; it has no standard-window price. Everything else runs in three dated windows and the recorded figures are the PRE-SALE rates, current until 31 August: Attendee then goes 90 and 95, Sponsor 170 and 175. Under-11s attend FREE and 11-to-17s pay 60, either of which includes free membership for up to two parents or guardians, with further minors in the same group at 35 each - weekend passes only, not day passes. A 14-to-17-year-old with a notarized consent form does not need a guardian present at all; under-14s do, at all times. Age is fixed at the first day of the convention, so turning 18 mid-con does not change the badge.

How Do I Get to Anthro New England?

Boston is an efficient transit hub for the Northeast:

  • Flying: Logan International Airport (BOS) is close to the venue. The MBTA Silver Line runs directly from the airport terminals to the Seaport District, so a rental car is not necessary.
  • Amtrak and Rail: Boston's South Station connects attendees from New York, Philadelphia, and broader New England by train.

Where Should I Stay for Anthro New England?

ANE occupies the Boston Harbor waterfront:

  • The Main Venue (Westin Boston Seaport District): An ultra-modern property that is the convention's hub. Given the cold January weather, staying in the Westin block allows attendees to move between events, the Dealers Den, and room parties without going outside.
  • The Seaport Network: As ANE has grown, the convention now uses a network of walkable partner hotels in the surrounding Seaport District.

Notes on Anthro New England

3 quirks & policies that don't fit the highlights grid.

  • The 2027 two-hotel expansion (Westin + Omni Boston at the Seaport)

Following 7,284 attendees in 2026 (+26.4% YoY), Anthro New England announced on April 18, 2026 that ANE 2027 will officially become a two-hotel convention, partnering with the Omni Boston at the Seaport directly across Summer Street from the existing Westin host hotel.

  • Wings Wildlife + Queer Scouts: ANE's 2026 dual-charity model

ANE 2026 supported two beneficiaries side-by-side: Wings Wildlife Rehabilitation Center (formerly Wings of the Dawn), an all-volunteer wildlife rehab and bird sanctuary in Henniker, NH, and Queer Scouts, a national peer-led LGBTQIA2S+ skill-share organization with a radical-accessibility mission.

  • Anthro New England, Inc.: the org behind the chairs

ANE is run by Anthro New England, Inc., a Massachusetts 501(c)(7) non-profit founded in 2014. The convention is chaired by Atlas and Flint (co-chairs since 2024) and governed by a seven-person board: Kat (President), Camille (Secretary), Foxar (Treasurer), Drahck, Flint, Smudge, and Wes.
