The nearest airport is Albany International Airport (ALB), about 15 minutes northwest of downtown by taxi or rideshare. ALB has nonstop flights from major East Coast cities and hubs including Chicago, Detroit, and Atlanta. The Albany-Rensselaer Amtrak station is a major stop on the Empire Corridor, with direct service from New York Penn Station (about 2.5 hours), Boston (via the Lake Shore Limited), and Montreal. The Albany Capital Center sits at the intersection of Eagle Street and Pine Street in downtown Albany, within walking distance of the train station.

The convention is held at the Albany Capital Center, a standalone convention facility rather than a hotel. The hotel joined to it by an indoor sky bridge is the Renaissance Albany, not the Hilton: Eufuria's own walking directions send Hilton guests down Lodge Street, across State and Howard, and up a second hill to reach Eagle Street. The convention times the Renaissance route and not this one, so treat it as a short walk with two crossings and two hills rather than a number. Both hotels held discounted 2026 room blocks and both were limited to attendees aged 21 and over; the 2027 block has not been announced yet. Other downtown options within a short walk include the Hampton Inn & Suites. The 18+ door policy means the hotel bars carry the late-night social scene.

Eufuria 2026 drew 1,191 attendees, its largest edition so far, and raised $5,929.97 for Prism Counseling and Advocacy. Danneroni was Guest of Honor, 276 fursuiters and cosplayers walked in the fursuit parade, and the schedule ran to 83 panels and events with 18 vendors in the Trot Topic dealers' room. Closing Ceremonies revealed the 2027 theme.
Eufuria 2025 gathered 764 attendees for its solarpunk-themed event. The convention raised over $4,000 for Prism Counseling and Advocacy and featured Hearth Fox as Guest of Honor.
The 2023 Eufuria Mini-Con was held on July 22 at Cafe Euphoria, 225 River St in Troy, New York. The organizer reported 65 attendees after the one-day gathering. The reviewed organizer announcements do not publish an admission price, theme, charity, Guest of Honor, or reusable 2023 asset.

A standalone convention center: Renaissance has the skybridge, not Hilton
Eufuria runs inside the Albany Capital Center (55 Eagle St), a 2017-opened publicly-owned facility operated by ASM Global for the Albany Convention Center Authority, not a hotel. Two partner hotels feed in: the Renaissance Albany Hotel is connected by a 2-3-minute indoor skybridge, while the Hilton Albany is a 5-8-minute outdoor walk with two street crossings and two hills.

Eufuria''s 2026 health policy keeps a universal indoor face-mask mandate, N95, KN95, medical, or multi-layer non-medical masks only; balaclavas, single-layer cloth, and valved masks are explicitly banned. Removal is allowed only in designated eating areas, for medication, or for approved main-stage dance / wind-instrument performances. Eufuria carries spare masks at the door.
A membership conference run by SCREE, Inc., not a ticketed convention
Eufuria is structured as the annual members'' conference of SCREE, Inc., a New York State membership corporation. Attendees buy a SCREE membership, General $70, Sponsor $130, Supersponsor $180, Lifetime $1,000, not a convention ticket. The membership grants access to Eufuria plus other unnamed members-only events throughout the year.
