Furgeddaboutit (FURG) brings an incredibly hilarious, fiercely proud local identity to the extremely dense Tri-State furry scene! Brilliantly named after the iconic New York/New Jersey catchphrase, the convention provides a uniquely accessible weekend blast for the East Coast.
After incredibly successful early runs, the convention locks into the DoubleTree by Hilton Fairfield Hotel in New Jersey for its April 23-26, 2026 iteration!
Leaning heavily into brilliant nostalgia, the 2026 theme--"Don't You Furgeddabout Me!"--is an incredible play on the iconic 1985 Simple Minds hit from The Breakfast Club. Attendees can prepare for an unbelievably vibrant blast of 80s neon aesthetics, massive retro gaming rooms, and themed retro dances!
Historically, the massive furry population in New Jersey had to travel to Philadelphia or Boston for major gatherings. Furgeddaboutit brilliantly changes that, serving as an incredibly fun, locally grounded anchor that consistently raises massive funds for local causes (like their $8,200+ donation to Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge).
