Furgeddaboutit (FURG) 2027 has upcoming dates to be announced in Fairfield, United States. The announced theme is Cosa Nostra: This furry thing of ours.
Previously, the New Jersey furry community had to travel to Philadelphia or Boston for major conventions. Furgeddaboutit fills that gap, serving as a locally grounded event that raises funds for local causes, including $11,899.94 for Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge in 2026.

Featured on Regular Car Reviews
Furgeddaboutit's Car Meet & Cannonball drew mainstream automotive coverage in its first year: Regular Car Reviews filmed the 2025 edition for its "Why Do Furry Conventions Have Car Shows?" video. At the 2026 edition, Guest of Honour Roxi Wheels hosted a Saturday-night panel about Cannonball racing, and the meet ran in the DoubleTree parking lot.
NFC Sponsor Wristband
Sponsor-tier registrants ($125 pre-reg-only) receive a reprogrammable NFC wristband as part of their swag bundle, alongside a con-branded t-shirt and shotglass. The wristband can be set to transmit anything an NFC tag is able to broadcast, the official copy specifically pitches it as a way to share furry contact details with a tap. Super Sponsors ($200) add a hat and backpack on top of the same bundle. No peer NJ/tri-state furcon ships programmable hardware as a sponsor incentive, the closest analogues are RFID lanyards used purely for access control, not attendee-side data.
Daytime all-ages, dance floors flip 18+ at 9 PM
Furgeddaboutit runs a split-age model: the daytime convention floor is all-ages (under-15 free with a paying adult parent or guardian), and the dance floors flip to 18+ nightly at 9:00 PM ET. The Soul Train pre-dance block runs Friday-Saturday 8 PM-1 AM as the named DJ-rotation event. The age-flip is published as a hard schedule rule, not a verbal door call, and is the rare NJ-area con that codifies both halves of the day in writing.
