The Bigger One returned to Delta Hotels Somerset on April 25-26, 2026 with its Garden State Paw-kway road-trip theme. Organizers posted a feedback form after the event, but no final attendance total has been published yet.
The Bigger One's first weekend edition ran May 3-4, 2025 and drew a checked-in attendance of 149, which the organisers called a record for their furmeets. The 2025 cycle established the 'PS Crew' as a leading organizational force in New Jersey, focusing on intimate community interactions at the Delta Hotels Somerset.

3 quirks & policies that don't fit the highlights grid.
Not-a-Con: hand-funded by one person and the PS Crew
TBO's own FAQ refuses convention status as a principle, not a disclaimer: "We're not a convention… we are not an organization or incorporated entity… we're independently run, operated by one person and a group of amazing volunteers… All expenses, including the hotel space, supplies, and badges, are personally funded and handmade." Pawsouls, a former Garden State Fur The Weekend (GSFTW) PR who left that organisation during the 2025 staff departures, funds the hotel block, badges and supplies out of pocket. Most peer grassroots furcons run as registered associations or 501(c)(3) shells (Mephit Furmeet, Michigan Anthro Weekend, FurFlock); TBO deliberately does not, framing it as respect for the work real cons put in. The Artist Corner evidences the operating posture: hand-strung fairy lights, hand-drawn paper signs, a literal "Surprise Claw" prize machine on the vendor table.
EZPaw Pass: theme-bonded top-tier perk
The 2026 top-tier reg perk, the EZPaw Pass, is a direct riff on EZPass, the NY/NJ Garden State Parkway electronic toll transponder every NJ furry reads instantly. Sponsors get a custom metal road-sign with their fursona on it plus line-skip access ("no lines"), pairing a physical highway-sign artifact to the Pawkway road-trip theme. The Pawkway logo, a circular green-and-yellow Parkway shield with a paw print where the leaf normally sits, keeps the same regional register on the brand mark itself. Edition themes rotate through the same vernacular spine: 2025 "Adventure" → 2026 "Garden State Paw-kway" → 2027 "Medieval Paws", each named to read naturally to tri-state regulars before it reads as a furcon theme.
One-directional Furgeddaboutit badge discount and a Jersey Devil mascot bot
Sister NJ furcon Furgeddaboutit (Fairfield) honors a TBO badge for $5 off standard Furgeddaboutit registration, and the discount is explicitly one-directional, TBO does not publish a reciprocal FURG-badge discount on its own reg. Mascot T-Bo is a Jersey Devil, leaning into the state cryptid rather than a generic anthro archetype, and attendee Q&A flows through a dedicated Telegram "T-bo Bot" at t.me/jersey_devil_bot. The 2026 weekend also added a Friday "Day 0" soft check-in at 6 PM with hotel-pool access and a preview of the con "Zoo" social-hangout space, an unbundled pre-day for a nominally two-day event.
