Garden State Fur The Weekend (GSFTW) is a furry convention in New Brunswick, New Jersey, run by a New Jersey company of the same name. It has held two editions, both in early May at the Hyatt Regency New Brunswick.

GSFTW is a three-day hotel convention in downtown New Brunswick, close to NJ Transit rail. Each edition picks a playful theme: a 50s diner in 2024 and the movies in 2025. The convention raises money for animal charities, and its organizers describe its aim as supporting animal welfare through community fundraisers.

The convention hotel, the Hyatt Regency New Brunswick, is at 2 Albany Street in downtown New Brunswick. According to the convention's hotel page, NJ Transit rail on the Northeast Corridor Line and Middlesex County Area Transit buses both serve it. The next edition's venue has not been announced, so check the official site before you plan travel.

The second Garden State Fur The Weekend ran May 2-4, 2025 at the Hyatt Regency New Brunswick with a movies theme. Its guests of honor were MeijiMeowth, NIIC The Singing Dog, Photographotter and Stargazer Borealis, and it raised money for Ferrets and Friends Sanctuary.
The first Garden State Fur The Weekend ran May 3-5, 2024 at the Hyatt Regency New Brunswick with a 50s diner theme and Leaf Dubois as guest of honor. The organizers report 957 attendees and $6,000 raised for The Pipsqueakery.
