PortConMaine is Maine's longest-running multi-genre pop-culture convention, held each June at the Holiday Inn Portland-By The Bay in Portland. The 2025 edition drew 3,711 attendees across its anime, gaming, science fiction, and dedicated furry programming tracks, and raised over $10,000 for The Trevor Project.
PortCon is a general pop-culture convention running June 25-28, 2026 at the Holiday Inn Portland-By The Bay, a venue that has also become the established home of "Furcationland" in the furry fandom.
Because of this geographical overlap, PortConMaine operates a dedicated "Furry Track" alongside its core programming. Attendees can check out anime exhibits, video game tournaments, and comic vendors while also engaging with an active New England furry community under the same roof.
