PortConMaine opens its 2027 edition on Thursday, June 24, 2027, in downtown Portland, Maine, continuing the con's usual four-day Thursday-to-Sunday run. The theme and Guests of Honor have not been announced yet, and the closing date is still to be confirmed. Pre-registration carries a discount through June 1, 2027, with panel submissions opening in January and the schedule due online in May.

PortConMaine 2026 ran June 25 to 28 at the Holiday Inn by the Bay in downtown Portland, the convention's first year at that venue. The Isekai-themed edition welcomed Guests of Honor Sean Chiplock, Celeste Perez, Ify Nwadiwe, Heath Miller, and Emily Louise, and set a new attendance record of 4,117. Convention charity efforts raised $10,432 for the Dempsey Center, a Maine cancer-support organization, pushing PortConMaine's cumulative giving past $100,000.
PortConMaine 2025 featured Jack Stansbury and Natalie Rial as Guests of Honor. The event drew 3,711 attendees and raised $10,379.69 for The Trevor Project.

Multi-track general-fandom positioning (not a furry-only con)
PortConMaine is explicitly "Maine''s Geek Culture Celebration", a multi-track general-fandom convention rather than a furry-only event. The 2026 program covers cosplay (Newbury Comics Costume Contest, Masquerade with named judges, Cosplay Shark Tank, Cosplay Survivor, Cosplay Dance Battle, Cosplay Lip Sync Battle), gaming (three dedicated gaming rooms running Thursday through Sunday), TTRPGs (a curated game list published per weekend), anime, and voice-acting.
Holiday Inn By the Bay + a 10-hotel walking-distance ladder
The convention hotel is the Holiday Inn By the Bay in downtown Portland, Maine, with overnight self-parking under the hotel at $15/vehicle/night (unlimited in-and-out) and a $259-$279 block rate.
