Held early in the spring (April 9-12, 2026) at the Holiday Inn Portland-By The Bay, Furcationland offers an incredibly welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere that feels far more intimate and cozy than massive, chaotic mega-cons. Guided by their beloved mascot, Scout, the convention leans heavily into art, literature, and Maine's gorgeous coastal culture—evidenced by 2026's brilliant "Harbor Howl" theme!

Community and Charity

FCL takes its 501(c)(3) status seriously, consistently partnering with local organizations. In recent years, they have raised massive totals for Short Folks For Hope, demonstrating a deep commitment to giving back to the state of Maine.
