Motor City Furry Con 2026 drew 2,525 attendees to the Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center. The event raised $35,000 for Wolf Creek Habitat with Pandez and Quack Quack Honk as Guests of Honor.

Renaissance Center: GM's former HQ, the People Mover, the Wintergarden
The Detroit Marriott isn''t a typical convention hotel, it''s the centrepiece of the Renaissance Center, the seven-tower riverfront complex that served as General Motors'' world headquarters from 1996 to 2024 before GM sold the property to Bedrock (Dan Gilbert''s real-estate arm) and announced a move to the new Hudson''s Detroit tower. The convention hotel is the Renaissance Center's 73-storey central tower, the tallest building in Michigan.
Hidden Disabilities Sunflower partner with a four-language access page
MCFC is one of the few furry conventions that is a partnering member of the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower Corporation, the international green-sunflower-on-black-lanyard scheme more commonly seen at major airports and theme parks than at fandom events, and accessibility staff issue Sunflower lanyards on request from a dedicated desk in the 5th-floor ballroom foyer.
Variable Day Pass pricing and a $290 sold-out Super Sponsor reception
MCFC publishes a variable Day Pass price ladder, Friday $60, Saturday $70, Sunday $50, rather than the flat per-day price most furry cons use. The Attendee badge is $100 flat (no early-bird premium for 2026); the $180 Sponsor tier unlocks the Sponsors Lounge, a 2026 commemorative glass, and the T-shirt; the $290 Super Sponsor tier adds a hoodie, a numbered challenge coin, and an invite to the Super Sponsor "Cocktails & Nibbles" Reception.
