Furrest City is a new furry convention in Cleveland, Ohio, named for the city's historic "Forest City" nickname. Run by a local 501(c)(3) that grew out of community meetups, its 2026 edition is Cleveland's first multi-day furry convention in roughly three decades.
Furrest City holds its first convention September 19-20, 2026 at the Cleveland State University Student Center (2121 Euclid Avenue). Two-day Attendee badges start at $45 early-bird, with a Sponsor tier at $85 and single-day passes at $35. As a debut event, the theme and guest lineup will be announced as planning continues; watch the official channels for reveals.
Furrest City is a ground-up, community-built con with a strong local identity. It revives the idea of a Cleveland furry convention decades after the city last had one, and it leans into its hometown: mascots named for a city bus route and a landmark concert, programming built around transit-accessible community events, and a downtown university venue. For furries in northeast Ohio, it's a chance to be part of a convention from its very first year.
