Furrest City is a new furry convention in Cleveland, Ohio, named for the city's historic "Forest City" nickname. Run by a local 501(c)(3) that grew out of community meetups, it held Cleveland's first multi-day furry convention in roughly three decades in 2026.
Furrest City lists its 2027 date as TBA on its website. The venue and badge prices for 2027 have not been announced either. The Telegram announcements channel and the Bluesky account are where the organizers post news first.
Furrest City is a ground-up, community-built con with a strong local identity. It revives the idea of a Cleveland furry convention decades after the city last had one, and it leans into its hometown: mascots named for a city bus route and a landmark concert, programming built around transit-accessible community events, and a downtown university venue. For furries in northeast Ohio, it's a chance to be part of a convention from its very first year.

By air: Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE) connects to the city's RTA Red Line rapid transit straight downtown.
By transit: The 2026 venue, the Cleveland State University Student Center downtown, is well served by RTA bus and rail; the convention has a history of organizing transit-based community outings.
By car: Cleveland State sits on Euclid Avenue downtown, reachable via I-90 and I-77. Check the 2027 venue once it is announced before you plan parking.

Furrest City held its first multi-day convention September 19-20, 2026 at the Cleveland State University Student Center (2121 Euclid Avenue). Two-day Attendee badges started at $45 early-bird, with a Sponsor tier at $85 and single-day passes at $35, and registration sold out. The official closing post reported 591 attendees.
The 2025 Furrest City Mini-Con is the organizer's earlier precursor event, with an official final attendance of 192; its exact dates are not published in the sources held here. The organizing nonprofit has run local meetups and community outings since 2024.
