The convention's own Stats and Administrivia page also lists future 2028 and 2029 dates, so this is a published schedule rather than a date inferred from the 2026 weekend. The organizer announced the Quest for Shiny Re:Migrated theme in its 2026 closing report and said registration would open after the 2026 registrations are wrapped up. The Hyatt is preparing to expand the convention onto its fourth floor for 2027. No 2027 Guests of Honor, registration price, or charity partner had been announced by mid-October 2026, and pre-registration had not opened.
Furry Migration 2026 ran September 11-13 at the Hyatt Regency Minneapolis under the Be Kind, Rewind theme. The official stats page reports 3,836 attendees and $7,595 donated to Minnesota Pocket Pet Rescue. The organizer's closing report put that at 1,405 more attendees than 2025, growth of 57% in one year. NightlineZ, Outsidewolves and Planet Clue were the Guests of Honor, with d.notive as Special Guest. The 2026 edition did not run a downtown fursuit parade because the organizer cited venue layout, occupancy, and fire-safety limits.
