Dinkelsbühler Suitwalk

The Dinkelsbühler Suitwalk is a free fursuit walk through the walled medieval old town of Dinkelsbühl in western Bavaria. A working group of Ulmer Furs e.V., the furry club behind the Ulmer Suitwalk, plans each walk. The walk started in May 2025 and ran twice in 2026, in May and September.

What to Expect

Recent walks met at the Spitalhof, with arrivals from late morning and the group setting off at 14:00. The route takes about two hours through the old town and back to the starting point, with two planned breaks and group photos along the way. In September 2026 the organizers introduced a shadier route that can be cut short through the Bleiche park when it gets hot, and they marked the Marktplatz as a stop where hugs are welcome. After the walk the group usually has dinner together at a reserved table or room in town; in September 2026 that was the Weibsbrauhaus at 17:00. New to the format? How to Get Tickets

Registration is free. Each walk has its own sign-up page on the Ulmer Furs registration system, linked from the announcement post on ulmer-furs.de. Fursuiters, spotters and photographers register separately, and each role has a limited number of places. A sponsor gift with a button and sticker in the walk design has been offered for a small contribution.

How to Get There

The 2026 walks met at the Konzertsaal im Spitalhof, Dr.-Martin-Luther-Straße 6B, 91550 Dinkelsbühl. The first walk in 2025 met at the Schranne hall on Weinmarkt, so check the current post for the meeting point. The old town has traffic calming and only short-stay parking. Suiters can drive into the Spitalhof briefly to unload, following the helpers in high-visibility vests, and then park at one of the free car parks outside the walls, such as Bleiche, Larrieder Straße or Schwedenwiese.
