Furlingame 2027 is scheduled for Mar 26-28, 2027 in Burlingame, United States. The announced theme is Ruby's Tropical Adventure. Guest of honor information lists Esky.
Furlingame is a new furry convention debuting April 3-5, 2026 at the Hyatt Regency San Francisco Airport in Burlingame, California. The venue is adjacent to SFO, and the inaugural theme is "In the Heart of the Bay."
Debuting April 3-5, 2026 at the Hyatt Regency San Francisco Airport, the event brings a hotel-convention format to the Bay Area. The inaugural year includes a Dealers Den, a party floor, and volunteer-run programming. The base three-day Traveler membership is priced at $75, and the first Guests of Honor are Limey the Cheetah and Justyne Gurley.
Because the venue is an airport hotel, travelers flying into SFO can take a shuttle directly from baggage claim. Bay Area residents can also use local transit options to reach the venue.

Three price windows, and the recorded figures are EARLY BIRD, which ends 31 August 2026. Pre-registration then runs to 19 March 2027 at 75, 195, 295 and 1,621, and at-con pricing opens that same day at 90, 220 and 330 - the top three tiers are simply not sold at the door. Furst Class and Globetrotter have no early-bird rate at all; their figures are the pre-registration ones. The 8 dollar early-bird saving recorded here is the TOURIST step and does not describe the ladder: Adventurer and Frequent Flyer each save 28. Everything from Elite Member up bundles a four-night hotel stay, 25 to 29 March, which is most of the price rather than perks. Sponsor merchandise is only guaranteed if you buy before 1 March 2027. Registration is non-refundable but transferable. Minors of 13 to 16 register at a discount under a registered adult, up to four per adult, and must be accompanied at all times. The page still says "Furlingame 2026" in two places of boilerplate while every tier reads "3-day registration to Furlingame 2027" and all the key dates are 2027; treat the 2026 mentions as leftovers.
San Francisco International Airport (SFO) is directly adjacent to the venue. The Hyatt Regency San Francisco Airport offers a complimentary shuttle running between the airport terminals and the hotel, so attendees flying in can go from baggage claim to their room without renting a car or paying for a ride. Make sure you go to the Hyatt Regency at San Francisco Airport in Burlingame, not the Hyatt Regency in downtown San Francisco (a common mix-up).
BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) runs to the SFO station, connecting the venue to San Francisco, Oakland, and the broader Bay Area rail network. Caltrain commuter rail stops in Burlingame as well, useful for attendees coming from San Jose or the South Bay. If driving, the hotel is at 1333 Bayshore Highway, Burlingame, CA, accessible from US-101.

'The Captain', a $6,767.67 presidential-suite top tier
Furlingame publishes a top membership tier called The Captain, listed at the deliberately playful price of $6,767.67 (down from a $10,000.67 list). The perk is concrete rather than symbolic: a top-floor presidential suite with an in-suite pool table at the Hyatt Regency SFO, plus an upgraded companion pass for a partner. The sponsor ladder below it is already rich, Furst Officer at $2,100 includes a four-night business suite stay, custom engraved badge, messenger bag and ceramic dish, but The Captain is the structural outlier: very few furry cons publish a single named, four-figure-plus VIP product tied to a specific named room with a named amenity. The exact-cents pricing carries through the brand voice that gave the con its airline-themed tier names (Day Trip, Traveler, Frequent Flyer, Elite Member, Furst Officer, The Captain).
"FLARE staff", undefined incident-response acronym
The Code of Conduct references a separate "FLARE staff" as the incident-response team handling safety reports, but the acronym is not yet expanded anywhere on the site as of June 2026. Most peer cons use "Safety," "Operations," or a named lead; Furlingame ships an acronym mid-launch and leaves the meaning for later. Watch for clarification before the inaugural weekend.
Kids 13-16 free with paying adult, 17+ pay full
Furlingame''s age structure threads a needle most peer cons skip: kids 13-16 register free with a paying adult (max two minors per adult), but 17-year-olds pay the full $75 Traveler rate. The split treats 17 as a structural adult-pricing line a year before legal majority, which is unusual, most US all-ages cons use a single under-18 free-with-adult rule.
