Anthroverse is a new furry convention with a science fiction theme, held at the Best Western Plus Miamisburg-Dayton Suites, Banquets & Hotel in Miamisburg, Ohio, about fifteen minutes southwest of Dayton. Its first edition runs February 18-21, 2027, and the organizers describe it as a nonprofit event that supports animal welfare.
Anthroverse calls its first year its "Inaugural Launch", and the space theme runs through everything from the badge names to the sponsor dinner. Registration and the hotel room block both opened on October 4, 2026. An adult attendee badge, called Space Cadet, costs $70 in standard preregistration, with an early-bird price of $60 until October 15, 2026.
Programming details for panels, gaming and music have not been published yet. The Dealers' Den is the first part of the event to open applications, and vendors can apply until January 15, 2027.
Anthroverse is a new con run by a registered nonprofit with a named board, and its first year is built around a playful space theme, from Space Cadet badges to a Flight Captain's Dinner. Its pricing is unusually transparent: every tier, deadline and youth badge is printed on one page, and the at-con price falls by $5 each day so a late arrival does not pay for days they missed. Families can come too, because the con follows a PG-13 standard and sells two youth badges with clear rules for parents. Proceeds from registration, donations and on-site fundraising support Ohio Alleycat Resource, a feline welfare nonprofit in the Greater Cincinnati area.

An at-con attendee badge costs $80 on Thursday and drops by $5 each later day. Online registration adds a $1 ConCat platform fee, and an optional $75 Food Pass covering four lunches can be added until January 15, 2027.
