SotonFurs

SotonFurs runs the monthly Southampton furmeet, held on a Saturday at Heartbreakers Bar and Venue in the city centre. A meet is a daytime gathering in the bar, with a fursuit walk in the afternoon when the weather and staff numbers allow. SotonFurs meets next on Saturday, November 14, 2026, and the group's next party is the Winter Party on January 9, 2027.

What to Expect

Meets usually run from 11:30 to 17:00, with a fursuit walk at about 14:00. Times can shift a little, as the October 2026 meet opened at 11:00, so check the latest post on the SotonFurs Bluesky before you go. Staff confirm on the day whether the walk goes ahead, and in the past it has gone around the nearby park. The November 2026 meet adds a new dealers den.

The meet rules ban unwanted touching, adult material on display and weapons that look real. Soft imitation weapons and Nerf blasters may be carried as part of a costume but must not be swung or fired inside. Drinks bought outside may not be drunk inside the venue, and the area outside is a controlled drinking zone.

How to Get Tickets

The organizers publish no ticket or entry fee for the monthly meet. You buy your own drinks at the bar, and anyone buying alcohol needs ID showing they are 18 or over.

SotonFurs meets are strictly 16+. Under-16s may not attend the meet, though according to the organizers they are welcome to tag along and watch the fursuit walk.

How to Get There

Heartbreakers Bar and Venue is at 7 Hanover Buildings, Southampton SO14 1JX, in the city centre. The venue says there is no dedicated parking and points to various off-road car parks within a short walk.
