Bourne Fur It is a monthly Bournemouth furmeet that launched in October 2025 and is built around a fursuit walk through the seafront Lower Gardens. The host venue is Boom Battle Bar in the BH2 leisure complex in the town centre, where the group books a table area from 12pm to 5pm and steps off for the walk at 2pm. The meet runs on a Sunday each month, which the organisers describe as the third Sunday. It ran on the third Saturday until February 2026. The day starts with a train-station pre-meet so arrivals can travel into town together. From around 12pm the group occupies its booked table area at Boom Battle Bar, before heading out to the Lower Gardens for the 2pm walk. The walk follows a deliberate trial route through the park with announced plans to extend further down the Gardens as headcount grows. Because the route is in a public park rather than on closed streets, the vibe stays casual and family-friendly. The group has publicly floated seasonal extras like a summer beach party.
The meet is free; you only spend on travel and whatever you choose to order at the pub.
