LondonFurs is the UK's largest regular furry meet and one of the oldest continuously running furry social groups in the world. Since 1998, London's furries have gathered roughly every third Saturday for socializing, drinks, and community. Meets are free, the venue is welcoming, and the annual Summer Weekender on the Thames is a highlight of the UK furry calendar.
Regular meets happen at Tank & Paddle near Monument station, doors at 12 noon and running to 7:30pm. The venue has pizza ovens, shuffleboard, and a wide drinks selection. The atmosphere is casual and social, not a dance-focused event. Meets are 18+ with mandatory photo-ID at the door. The age raise is insurer-driven, not optional.
The annual Summer Weekender is the flagship: a Friday night boat party on the River Thames with DJs and dancing, followed by a Saturday Summer Party at Tank & Paddle. The Winter Party is another major annual event.
Meets are free, but a ticket is mandatory for capacity management following the April 2025 incident at which police were called twice. Tickets are issued via Ticket Tailor per meet, with each edition getting its own listing opened roughly nine days before the meet. The Summer Weekender boat party and Winter Party are paid events sold separately via Ticket Tailor.
2026 regular meet dates: January 10, January 31, February 21, March 14, April 4, April 25, May 16, June 6, June 27, August 8, August 29, September 19, October 10, October 31, November 21.
Tank & Paddle is at Minster Court, 3 Mincing Lane, London EC3R 7AA. The nearest station is Monument (District/Circle lines) or Tower Hill (District/Circle). London Bridge is also walkable.
No. Regular meets are free. You need a ticket only for venue capacity management. Some special events (boat party) have paid tickets.
Regular meets are social gatherings, not dances. The Summer Weekender boat party has DJs and dancing. The format is more pub meet than club night.
Regular meets draw around 150 people. The Summer Weekender and Winter Party can reach 250 to 400.
